19.01.2022 GETTING BACK ON THE HORSE This space has been a little quiet recently. Juggling hospital work, my own business, family life and home renos all of which was coupled with feeling homesick (as we won't get to see our families in Ireland and Scotland this year )I was starting to feel down in the dumps and becoming overwhelmed easily. I felt something needed to give or I would crash and burn! So my business was put in neutral while I focussed on all the other things.... A few months on and I have missed it. I have missed the personal growth, the positivity and encouragement and the connections with team members from around the globe. 16.01.2022 This pic was taken on a trip home to Ireland to see family nearly two years ago now. I was on the train with my two munchkins headed for Dublin to catch our return flights back to Oz . Behind my smile was a heartbroken mamma . I had been crying for hours as I said goodbye for another year (so I thought then) to loved ones. Parents, sisters, brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles, neighbors and friends. ( yes, we are a close bunch!). I am one of those people that cannot hide my... emotions well and apparently very good at setting others off (according to my sisters anyway!). My mom would tease me and say "oh gosh off you go again flyin' and cryin' "!! and we'd giggle at her comment through the tears and hugs Since that time my journey has been through ups and downs ( like many I guess its just part of life) and I was crippled by fear and afraid to be too vulnerable. Only very recently one of my mentors in the UK said to me "let go of the outcomes Val" and holy moly the real me started to emerge. The unapologetic me. The me that is no longer afraid of what others will think. The me that doesn't worry as much about those that don't quiet get it. So who is going to join me? Who wants to find their unapologetic me? 11.01.2022 Its been a big busy week. I didn't realise how big. Yesterday, my neighbor gave me a beautiful red rose she had picked at her farm house in the tablelands and oh my it just took me straight back to my childhood. My granny used to have the most beautiful rose bushes and she took such pride in them. I still see her out the front of the house prunning and weeding around them while we played on a tyre swing that hung off a big oak tree. The rose smell just took me straight back ...there and before I knew it a tear was running down my face. I thought "Val your a flippin' mess this week what is going on!" I know its convenient timing but I'm blaming the Great Conjunction . The allignment of two planets, their vibrations blend and they work together. I don't usually follow this kinda stuff but it's pretty cool! I like to think that all this intensity and energy is helping to release old habits and making way for new ways of doing things.
