25.01.2022 We are doing it AGAIN! The Kit Kat Club is exploding back on the stage with the NEW show "Love Is In The Air" for Valentine's Day. The very risqué Mme Belle brings the troupe together again for a night of hilarity when a strange Love Potion (No.9) accidentally falls into the smoke machine and wreaks havoc with everyone's senses....cue some inappropriate behaviours and let the laughs rip as the Company Performers let their hearts hang out in song and dance. Every show presente...d at The Richmond School Of Arts has SOLD OUT with standing room only so please keep a watch for the ticket release which will be in the next few days. This will be a BYO event but you will be able to order a bottle pink bubbles if you wish and your choice of platter (sweet or savoury or both). 07.01.2022 Hi all - pupils and parents: I have decided to make this concert entirely FREE and I want to explain why. I am incensed by this government's appalling act in marginalising even further the position and importance of the Arts in this country by devolving the Ministry for Arts into an unrelated ministry sector. It is the act of a cowardly, a degenerate, a faithless and soulless government which is so severely out of touch with it's populace it actually makes me breathless with... rage. As a music teacher, a singing teacher, a performer and a musician I understand to the bone the importance the Arts play in the development of us as human beings. Music and Fine Art have always considered absolute essential areas of training for any rounded human being - the others being science and mathematics - since the Ancient Greeks. Hundreds of years ago, the world understood what it means to be wholly human and that the expression of the soul through Art was essential for anyone to call themselves remotely educated. Now we find ourselves slaves to a corporate vision of our society being run by people themselves devoid of any meaningful connection to their own souls, because of the lack of Arts in their own educations. I refuse to accept this and I will fight this by educating as many children and adults as I possibly can to explore and embrace their voices and their expression trough the Art of Music so that the sheer weight of experience and understanding and joy and soulful connection with themselves and those they choose to share this with overwhelms their world and overruns the current infection of politicians we are suffering. It is by making MORE artists of everyday people that we will eventually arrive at a generation which will look back in horror at the sheer ignorance of Scummo and his witless, faithless, commercially mad and disconnected politics and marvel that any generation stood by to suffer it all. This is the revolution I have waged and now will wage with double the intent. YOU are all welcome to this concert for FREE to witness artists in the making from the smallest scale up. Remember, a tiny plant can eventually crack concrete just by growing persistently enough. See more
