21.01.2022 Great to see the community are trying to support people with communication difficulties. These pictures don’t look anything special but people with communication difficulties use them to express themselves and trying to be independent!!

However, breakfast is also skippe...d by so many children in Australia. From a recent report: "One in five kids affected (with hunger) go to school without eating breakfast at least once a week, while one in 10 go a whole day at least once a week without eating anything at all." If you're part of Basket Buddies, we ask that you purchase a box of Weetbix this week. This is why our Christmas Hamper is made up of both staples and festive foods to spread the message of hope to local families in need. 15.01.2022 Thank you for my first swimming pool therapy session. With this energetic 5 year old and his younger brother, his mum and I worked on speech and language, socialising, following instructions, reducing problem behaviours, playing, turn taking and of course, swimming. Well done my little friend for using your words and signs to show us what you want!

12.01.2022 I’m in love with speech therapy sessions at the swimming pool! I got told off a few times by this little friend, no more bubbles; Jo come, stop, down. His mum and I were so proud. No pushing, hitting, running away at all but following all instructions. It’s a big difference when children can express their dislikes!! Singing Row Row Row the boat in the water couldn’t be more fun!!
