24.01.2022 Thrush can be incredibly uncomfortable and for many women it's a recurrent problem, flaring up with every cycle or every time they experience stress or become a bit run down. Whilst the over the counter treatment from the chemist may clear the symptoms, unfortunately the thrush returns again the next month or during the next period of stress or fatigue. We all have candida (overgrowth of this is involved in thrush symptoms) in our gut, it's only when it gets out of balance or... is present in high numbers in comparison with our other beneficial gut bacteria that it begins to be problematic. It's also possible to have chronic candida issues without actual thrush symptoms and this can lead to low immunity and frequent infections as a result as well as fatigue and insatiable sugar cravings! There are some very effective natural remedies which can be used to manage the symptoms of thrush ideally also accompanied by some gut and microbiome healing to prevent further issues with thrush or candida. 17.01.2022 Reason #675 that I love Breathwork- breathwork gives you space to actually feel your feelings and release them. This frees up huge amounts of energy that is otherwise spent ‘keeping a lid on’ feelings or trying not to feel them! When you have a feeling or emotion yet try not to feel it by pushing it down or distracting yourself with food, busyness or mindless screen scrolling it also creates a lot of tension in your body - a push- pull kind of scenario. As humans we’re meant to feel things- we’re often not taught how or we’ve been told that our feelings are ‘wrong’ and so we expend a whole lot of energy trying to keep feelings and emotions at bay, yet they’re still there and potentially running our lives to some some degree!

13.01.2022 Hi to all of you following my IG or Facebook - I’m Annabel and I love all things pink, drinking tea and anything to do with the breath! I first discovered that I could use my breath to help me with my long distance running as a child- I could change my breath to conserve my energy and focus on my breath when I started to get tired and change it again when I needed to increase my pace to finish strongly. When I was reintroduced to Breathwork in a different way in my early 20s,... it completely changed my life and I decided then that I absolutely must become a Breathwork practitioner myself so that I could help others experience its life changing benefits too! At the time I had begun experiencing anxiety and panic attacks as deeply held, unprocessed grief following the sudden death of my mother when I was just a child had begun to surface. I’d spent so long trying not to feel these feelings that I didn’t even know how or where to begin.. until I was introduced to breathwork by a shaman who I had begun working with. 04.01.2022 My days always begin with breathwork! I look forward to my morning breathwork so much that I sometimes wake up far too early! There are so many reasons that I love breathwork and working with the breath- it absolutely changed my life when I first discovered it in my mid- twenties.... Having often been told that I was ‘too sensitive ‘gave me a sense of empowerment over my emotions- allowing me to feel them and integrate or release them rather than to expend energy trying not to ‘be so sensitive’ or ‘feel things so much’. It allowed me to get in touch with the deeply held grief of losing my mother at age 11 that I’d spent years trying to bury as it was just too painful and overwhelming, but that was surfacing in the form of anxiety and panic attacks. As humans we’re meant to feel things including a range of emotions that won’t always be ‘love and light’. Just like we need all of the colors of the rainbow to make up the color spectrum, we need to acknowledge all of the shades of emotion to experience the richness of being human and your breath can support you to embrace the more challenging ones, also deepening your capacity to experience more of the elevated ones!

02.01.2022 Well that’s a wrap for me! I’m going largely offline for a bit to enjoy the last days of the year with my family and to rest and replenish. I’m grateful for all that I have learned throughout 2020 and to everyone who I have worked with either in person or online.... Thank you to all who have supported me and my business in varying ways throughout the year. Before the year is out, remember to make some time to reflect on what you have learned, experienced or achieved and the ways in which you have grown- despite the challenges there will still be some gems in there.
