25.01.2022 I discovered a passion for "upcycling" furniture last year when I was looking for ideas on outdoor furniture. Since flipping my first piece, I've been hooked. I love to use chalk paints, mixing colours and layering. I particularly love the old vintage distressed look. It's amazing to see an old or ugly piece, turned into something totally different and beautiful, just with a new colour.... I also add details like stenciling, raised stencil, decoupage and embellishments to pieces for a bit of extra wow. Each item is a one off and depending on the piece, will depend on how I paint it and the type of paint used. All furniture is repaired if necessary, cleaned and finished with wax or varnish. My items are available for sale on Facebook and usually sell quickly. So if you see something you like, get in quick. If you have a piece of furniture at home that you would like to be given a new look, I'm happy to commission a piece for you. Price wilk depend on how much the item of furniture cost to buy, plus the time and work out into a piece. Upcycling a piece of old or unwanted furniture and making it beautiful again, is such a joy and pleasure to do.
