25.01.2022 We are very happy to be up and running in our new workshop! Check out our stories for a little tour of the space. We feel exceptionally lucky to be sharing a premises with @botanickbrisbane and @carol.a.russell, both of whom you probably already know and love. When we are all able to share a room with one another we would love for you to visit this little corner of Pedder Street in Albion, QLD. We love it already and cant wait to share it with you in person.

22.01.2022 Rainy days and gloomy skies reminding us of our dark and moody workshop in the UK.

20.01.2022 We just wanted to say a massive thank you to all those who have made a small purchase lately. Every order means so much to us, now more than ever so thank you! Thanks also to all the small businesses out there that are supporting each other like @_commons_ who shared this beautiful picture of her Blue&Grae keyring paired with one of her own ceramic delights

18.01.2022 This is a boot I made a while ago. I was never happy with the final product, but in its dissected form it makes for a great tool to explain how a welted boot is made. Check out how far the welt stitch has to travel in its gentle arc from insole to welt. @ Blue & Grae

18.01.2022 More from that consignment of new-old stock shoemakers tools. You can never have too many blades

17.01.2022 Maybe its all this rain and gloom we are getting in Brisbane at the moment but all of a sudden the combination of leather and brass seems so warm and inviting (or maybe its the heat from the stamping press ). Our FERMI keyrings - The perfect gift. Free personalisation.

16.01.2022 I'm currently sewing one of our MAUDE MacBook sleeves for a 16" MacBook. I've had my own 13" sleeve for about 6 years now and it will certainly outlast my Mac, When I upgrade my computer i'll simply re-engineer my old sleeve to fit.

11.01.2022 Mondays in the workshop are some of my favorite days. I try and reserve them for machine maintenance, general tinkering and for working on new patterns. With the pitter patter of rain on the tin roof it makes for a beautiful day. P.s. The tool rolls are game changers around the workshop. I have a few for my own tools, one for metric spanners, one imperial, one for plier type tools and one for chisels.. Organisation bliss

01.01.2022 And they are done. 'Norwegian' construction Chukka Boots. There's so much more to these than I could ever explain here, but there's nothing like a challenge to pull you even further down the rabbit hole. They fit like a glove and make me smile every time I put them on. I'll consider that a win.... You can see the whole making process from raw materials to this in our highlight reel 'Chukka Boots' and 'Chukka Boots Part II'
