17.01.2022 TWN's Agota Molnar puts forward a case for a cathedral to be built in Wynyard. It will require a building or two to be domolished but according to Agota, that's no big issue. Luckily, Ladybugs Pizza will remain unscathed by Agota's big plans for Wynyard!

16.01.2022 Re-emerging from self imposted isolation after a cold. Gutted to have missed the last night of The Bleeding Tree by Angus Cerini (and helping with bump out) in fear of contagion. Even a cold can shut us down. Big thanks everyone involved and there were loads of people who came together to make this show happen. Well done creative team, Ben, Marta, Jane, Kartanya, Glenn, Jason, Peta, Elvio, Emma, Jacqueline and behind the scenes Ellen, Adrian, Karissa, and Nat. Ho ho ho, stay safe, be kind and rest

15.01.2022 Sad news for Hobart Theatre - COVID, we are not amused!

12.01.2022 RATTLE is a new queer play written by Hera Direen, about radical self care and the intersectionality of care and sexuality. Auditions are being held on 5 & 6 De...c for the following roles for this Hobart production: SAMMY - MAN between 20 and 30. Bit of a dick head, gamer, straight frat boy. EYVE - NON-BINARY between 18 and 25. Naive but provocative. ALICE - WOMAN between 25 and 35. One of the lads, with a fickle conscience. (Although roles are gendered, people auditioning may be of any gender or sex that does not align with the gender of the characters.) For more information or to book an audition please email Hera at [email protected] Performers will participate in a developmental weekend (Jan 2021) on a volunteer basis, and a performance season (late 2021, dates to be announced) for cut of profit.
