18.01.2022 This Jeep Cherokee had a leaking condenser and suction hose which required the removal of the bullbar, grill, plastic top covers, coolant reservoir, oil cooler, intercooler and hoses and transmission lines to change the condenser/oil cooler assembly, big job.

06.01.2022 Cool Barra, We can Air-condition anything on wheels, this is a quick demo model for the Good Old Boys men’s night, to demonstrate the electric auto A/C compressor system, I knocked up this one on a board, but it could easily have the compressor mounted in the boot, under a guard or on chassis rail of your vehicle.

05.01.2022 For those of you considering fitting an electric compressor to your vehicle, for the A/C system. Here is what you will need. Firstly a good quality electric compressor, a continuous solenoid, a minimum of 120amp alternator, a good sized battery, extra hoses and pipes and heavy duty battery type wiring to wherever all this is fitted, to enable it all to run. You will still need a condenser and FDR (reciever drier) mounted in front of the radiator or remotely, with fans elsewh...ere on the vehicle. And also the evaporator of your choice mounted in the vehicle. The cost of the electric compressor is approximately 3 times more expensive than a traditional belt driven compressor. The cost of the remainder of the system is dependent on you, and the vehicle, no two are ever the same. I hope this information is of assistance to you in your consideration and decisions.
