19.01.2022 With less than 1 week to go we now have only a limited amount of places left to our 6th Annual Blue Light Virtual Youth Conference. Ticket sales will end at 5pm Thursday the 3rd of December unless sold out. This year there is a stronger focus on supporting the wellbeing and resilience of our Police Members and those who work with young people, in recognition of the many challenges faced by our workforce in 2020. Our keynote speaker is Hugh van Cuylen...burg from The Resilience Project who will share his experiences and his knowledge which is sure to inspire us all. 15.01.2022 #flashbackfriday to a wonderful program we ran at The Pavilion School in Preston. Police and Blue Light came together with the school to provide an opportunity for some of our most vulnerable young people to participate in fitness and positive police engagement. Most Pavilion students are at risk of one or more of the following: , , , , , , ... . At any point up to 20% of Pavilion students are indigenous. All students, at time of enrolment at the Pavilion, are not attending or engaged in any other education or training program and are seeking to further their education. All students willingly enroll at the Pavilion. In 2021 we will be changing up our program to incorporate life skills education.
