25.01.2022 The wait is finally over! Across Queensland beauty will reopen for business tomorrow Saturday 16th. It’s important all clients read and agree to the COVID safe plan before attending your appointments. These are exciting times moving forward but in order to keep beauty businesses open precautions need to be followed. Today is the last day to relax and prepare before the extremely busy period we have all been waiting for! Can’t wait to see all my clients in the coming weeks

23.01.2022 Following the announcement of Blushed by Renee reopening on Saturday 16th May, a COVID-19 safe plan has been created. All clients must follow and agree to the policies and procedures outlined in this plan before attending their appointment. A copy of this plan along with a COVID safe checklist for beauty therapy and promotional material will be clearly displayed in the salon and also where necessary. Please read the plan carefully and feel free to message me with any queries or questions you might have. I am SO excited to start working again! Next week is almost fully booked! The lash and brow growth serum and the white knight mascara are both available to purchase now. I have finally found cruelty free, affordable, highly recommended products to use with extensions (yes that’s right!) to help grow and strengthen your natural lashes! 16.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce Blushed by Renee will be closed as of midnight 25th March. This is due to the recent business restrictions made by the government in response to the covid-19 outbreak. All appointments after tomorrow will be cancelled until further notice. Please contact me with any queries regarding appointment cancellations and what it means for you. Words cannot express how devastated I am to close my doors on my small business that has ...become my livelihood, however this closure is only temporary and given the current circumstances- essential! As difficult as this will be for myself, other businesses and my clients to sacrifice, we must remember we are all apart of a much larger crisis that requires us to co-operate, stay strong and perceiver through this challenging time. Remember we really are all in this together! Without each other there is no community, and without the support of community I would have no clients and no business. So I want to thank each and every one of my beautiful clients who have ever supported me and hopefully will continue to support not only my business but other small businesses once this has all passed, when it will really matter most! I cannot thank you all enough for your understanding and the supportive kind words I have received, it’s been an emotional and overwhelming few hours as I’m sure the next few days will be also as I continue to come to terms with everything going on. These messages really do mean the world to me right now so Thankyou! On this note I urge everyone to respect the restrictions and prioritise your mental and physical wellbeing! 08.01.2022 Important noticePLEASE READ A lash cleaning fee of $5 now applies to all clients arriving to their lash extension or lash lift appointments wearing makeup or with dirty lashes. Please note a basic cleanse is included with both services, however if a more thorough cleanse is required with at my discretion, this requires more time and cleanser and will therefore incur a $5 fee. This fee is now available to select online when booking if you know your lashes will need a more ...thorough clean. I strongly recommend all clients arrive to their lash appointments with freshly cleansed lashes and no makeup, or a recent cleanse the morning of at the very least if you are coming from work. Remember if you are a lash client a suitable lash cleanser is a MUST! A cleanser should be used at least 3-4 times a week for healthy clean lashes with better retention! If you haven’t already got a suitable cleanser please enquire at your next appointment for tips how to use one! I sell them in salon for $20 and cleansing brushes for $10. Cleansers should be replaced every 6 months roughly or once they don’t foam up well anymore.
