19.01.2022 PROJECT R100CS - MAIDEN RIDE James finally gets to scratch the itch and take the R100CS, with its meaty Keihan conti pipes, for its first test ride. Nothing much left to do now but a few rats and mice. Then it's handover time to its excited owner, Ken.... Enjoy.

19.01.2022 What are your must-have accessories? Driving lights, a taller screen, aftermarket muffler? Maybe something else? Our suggestions? Go for the important stuff that helps protect your beloved bike. We're talking engine guards, radiator guards, headlight protection and pre-filters (especially if you're hitting the dirty). The good news is they're all relatively affordable. Case in point: Radiator guards. ... This unprotected radiator came perilously close to bursting thanks to an errant stone, which typically leads to coolant leaking, bike overheating and engine damage if allowed to over heat for too long (especially on those 40 degree plus days out in the bush). Not to mention the cost of a new radiator (typically around $550 per radiator on a R1200GS L/C). The other bike, meanwhile, clearly demonstrates just how effective radiator guards can be. The cost? Around $215 for the Touratech radiator guards (come in silver and black). Cheap insurance and money well spent. You're welcome.
