22.01.2022 Well done to everyone that took part in yesterday's event the Max Cranes Tri Series at Coonawarra. Despite a few technical issues and scorching heat we got there in the end. it was a fantastic day and one that we should all be proud of. Great to see the crowd come out to support us and share in the fun!

Pit your car against other tough street cars and settle those arguments for good at a fully-fledged drag racing event... that's right... LEGALLY. Whether it's your daily drive or the beast in the shed, make sure you don't miss the chance to burn rubber, and find out just what she's capable of. As long as she meets scrutineering, runs a mu...ffled exhaust, you've got long sleeves, jeans and a helmet, you're good to go!! (As long as you're not quicker than 8.5 seconds over the 1/8 mile). 06.01.2022 MAX Cranes Drag Racing Tri Series 2012/2013 Round Two Report from SEDRA Four local racers made their way to Mildura’s Sunset Drag Strip on the Australia day long weekend to compete in the second round of the Max Cranes Drag Racing Tri Series. Last season’s Super Sedan series champion, Andrew Greening, was first to be knocked from contention when he lost in the second elimination round. James Fulton, who was defending his lead the Super Street bracket after winning the 1st rou...nd at Whyalla, was next to be eliminated; he lost in the quarter finals. This now sees him in equal first place on the Super Street leader board and is SEDRA’s best hope going into the final round. David Todd was then eliminated in the semi finals and his consistent efforts see him in 4th place on the Super Sedan leader board. The most successful and quickest racer overall on the day was Alex Van Leuven. After recording a PB of 5.04 seconds, he made it through to the final of the modified bracket. Unfortunately, in the final Alex red lit and handed the win to his rival competitor. Overall it was a very successful weekend of racing with all drivers now setting their sights on the final round of the Max Cranes Tri series at their home venue on Sunday the 10th of March. The finals of the Max Cranes Drag Racing Tri Series will take place at the Coonawarra Dragway and will feature all the usual classes of cars and bikes some scorching the two hundred metre track in as little as 5 seconds. That’s 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in less than 1.6 seconds, reaching a top speed in excess of 200 kilometres per hour at the finish line. This year we have added an off street class for anyone with their quick street cars to compete together, without having to compete with the more powerful vehicles.
