23.01.2022 Installed kitchen in container at boat reflection today went back together well.

21.01.2022 Making slow progress have a week of over Christmas so planning on getting some frame work up .

21.01.2022 Back working on boat reflections now we have been sanding and painting steel beams for floor's and have h6 poles in ground ready for pole driver to drive them down to bed rock or 60 tonnes of pressure .the posts are 6m long 200 mm round and will be below ground with 16 mm rod threw them and then incased in concrete .the ground below the motel is reclaimed land back in the 1930 and was a big wooden jetty before reclaimed.

19.01.2022 A nother weekend over they go to fast we have 95 % of the steel work done for floor structure will start installing floor joints and flooring next weekend .the piks are taking from the front verandah .

18.01.2022 Well after 4 years and over 3 years in planning we finally have our building permit for our visitors accommodation at franklin. It has been one hell of a stressful and not to mention costly journey to get to this stage . So if eny of you are thinking of starting your own business make shore you are young and have a full hed of hair and plenty of money because when you finerley get approval you will have none of the above lol.

15.01.2022 After 2 days of post driving we have finally driving 38 6m post to bed rock under the motel which was done by Russell kemp from pole teck most of the poles were driven down to 5 to 6m to bed rock so after 3 years of stressing whether we would find a bottom to support the weight of our motel accommodation on reclaimed River front i can sleep to night

13.01.2022 Installed Windows in site office today was going to be easy but went to install Windows and every one of them was made the wrong size so happy day .

12.01.2022 Making some progress over Christmas hopefully rob and myself will have 3 front rooms framed up by tomorrow night ?

11.01.2022 Spent the last two days cladding site office .next step fitting flashens and detachable verandah back in side tomorrow to finish fit out.

09.01.2022 Have finished plastering site office at boat reflection today plaster coming next week to stop of joints ready to paint and fit out .was lucky enough to pik up a second hand kitchen in like new condition which was a big saving .hopefully double glazed windows wil be ready soon.

08.01.2022 Boat Reflections site office all most completed inside .plans for motel hopefully into council next week for building approval it has been a long slog but can see light at the end of the tunnel.

05.01.2022 Had a productive weekend at boat reflection have managed to get all main foundation installed ready for 290390 block work laid over 9090 steel posts and core filled with concrete.

05.01.2022 Called in after work tonight to finish painting ceilings and one coat on walls. Going to install kitchen tomorrow .

05.01.2022 Well the Christmas break is over went to fast . rob and myself managed to frame up 3 parts of the motel .back to work in town so will finish framing next weeked ready for trusses.

04.01.2022 Site office bathroom all most completed overlay flooring complete. Cladding out sid walls tomorrow.

01.01.2022 Spent the day plastering out container at boat reflection have all electrics finished will finish plastering tomorrow might move in my self very cozy. A part from the music at the pub next door live bands on after listening to there singing i think i have gone tone deaf.
