Michael Swaine and Joel Schultz sailed all the way from the Sunshin...e Coast to Great Keppel Island, in an effort to cure their boredom amid the pandemic. We got to see it in all its elements. We got those glassy days where the dolphins would come up next to the boat, we had a whale come up - you could hear the slap of the water as it breached. We had a bit of everything. 13.01.2022 Coast Guard Brisbane received a call for assistance early this morning after a boat capsized while at a mooring at Tangalooma. Our primary rescue CG29 was sent ...to attempt to recover the vessel. Several attempts were made to right the vessel and assistance was provided by a nearby truck. After going through a couple of tow ropes the vessel was made safe for towing and was returned to Manly Harbour through choppy seas and high winds.
