25.01.2022 The Nepean River looks beautiful this morning, if only we could throw a fishing rod out whilst teaching a boat licence class

23.01.2022 Preparing to launch for today's Boat and PWC licence course at Penrith

23.01.2022 With a day this good, why aren't you already down on the water. Boat licence courses are held every Wednesday and Sunday on the Nepean River and at Penrith Marine.

22.01.2022 Setting up the boat for today's course, we are sharing the water this morning with 60+ hopefuls time trailing with Rowing Australia on the Nepean River. Good luck to them all

22.01.2022 Stessco boats, Mercury outboards and Dunbier trailers, a great combination

21.01.2022 Our training boat has one and it was made locally

19.01.2022 We are closed for a holiday break from Monday 21 December 2020 and will return 8.00 Monday morning 4 January 2021. We look forward to seeing you on our return, make the best of our current circumstances with Covid and stay safe. Stuart and the team at MAST Western Sydney @ Penrith Marine

19.01.2022 Just a reminder that due to Covid 19 the numbers we can fit on the training boat and in the classroom have been dramatically reduced, if you wish to book for a training session, to avoid disappointment, please book in as soon as possible as dates are filling incredibly fast

19.01.2022 Our training course are booking out very quickly due to limited class sizes as a result of Covid 19. Please book in soon or you may miss the chance to get a boat licence before Christmas!

18.01.2022 Waiting for students to arrive for today's course

17.01.2022 A milestone day yesterday for our trainer Stuart, he taught his 10,000th student.

17.01.2022 The river is beautiful this morning , why not get down here before it gets busy.

16.01.2022 Feedback from yesterdays course via email: Stuart, I just wanted to thank you for an awesome day. I learnt a lot and had a great time as well.... Your very professional and the detail you go into is fantastic. Thank you so much again..

16.01.2022 How many of you also work a Sunday like us, I bet your office isn't as nice!

15.01.2022 The wharf at Penrith is slightly under water again due to Warragamba spilling, far less debris on the water, please watch the current through the narrows

15.01.2022 A short YouTube presentation from NSW Maritime supporting the great work of Approved Training Provders helping you to get your Boat and PWC licence. Call us on 4731 6250 to discuss your needs, we are here to help. https://youtu.be/yNb0ZE1nw8c

13.01.2022 The calm before the course today, cold but beautiful on the Nepean River, 3 degrees.

12.01.2022 Did you know that outboards come in different shaft lengths, 15, 20 and 25 inch which are known as short shaft, long shaft and extra long shaft. Our training boat has an extra long outboard. So when shopping for a new outboard you need to know which one is correct for your boat, call us and we can help explain it for you

12.01.2022 Your trainer Stuart doing a Commercial Coxswains course on Sydney Harbour today

12.01.2022 With Warragamba dam spilling regularly over the past week, we keep on having the wharf go under and clear almost on a daily basis. Just look out for a fair bit of debris on the surface of the water

11.01.2022 Our training boats life jackets are in date and show the vessels registration number - does yours?

10.01.2022 7.30 in the morning the boat ramp is a hive of activity for boaters and jet skiers alike. RMS have their expired flare collection team here for another few hours. Waiting on my group of students to arrive.

10.01.2022 Warragamba dam is spilling daily for the next 2 weeks, water over the wharf upto your ankles again.

10.01.2022 7.30am and 34 degrees, wind gusting 20 to 25 kph, overcast and heading for 43 degrees. A hit and sticky day on the water

07.01.2022 When was the last time you checked equipment on your boat to see if they were still in date, these can include inflatable life jackets, flares, EPIRB, fire extinguisher etc. Check them before you next go out it can save a life and avoid a penalty from RMS or the Water Police. A laminated date tag on each item serves as a great reminder or set a reminder in your phones calander

06.01.2022 This is the 3rd straight week of high water levels on the Nepean River due to Warragamba dam spilling water, makes you wonder how much water have they released already

04.01.2022 The difference 10 minutes can make, no fog to heavy fog, our licence class now has the theory first and the practical after the fog clears.

01.01.2022 We will be resuming Licence training from Wednesday 6 May 2020 for limited numbers. Please contact the office on 4731 6250 or 0425 284949 to arrange a booking.
