25.01.2022 Essential groceries for #homesesh Lock downs continue but we added these to our last grocery shop at #coles At $1.80 a its a fraction of the price of regular #bbt, but it's still a canned drink so expectations ppl lol.... Conpared to what you would buy for $8-$10 this tastes a bit watered down but does still tastes like #milktea. The #pearls, well can't really call them pearls. An odd texture that's more like small lumps of flavorless jelly. Probably wouldn't get under normal circumstances BUT at this price and long shelf life, can stock a pantry for the price of a few bbt's lol

13.01.2022 Strawberry vs Durian @tmix_melbourne is back (along with all of @emporiummelbourne) and we stopped by for flavours we don't have enough of. Strawberry purple rice smoothie ($6.50). Have had purple rice drinks before and wasn't a fan, but after this one we are now converted! Tasted yogurtish even though this was the smoothie, and the rice had hint of sweetness whilst not undercooked like we have had in the past. Look how pretty it is too ... Durian Supreme, with added pearls ($7.80 + $0.50). We saw them use real chunks of #durian while blending and saw them add more with the pearls at the end so you could get durian up the straw with the pearls, very generous! Smell wasn't too intense, we trammed home with it and no one yelled at us Let us know if you love or hate durian below

08.01.2022 THE LOT @teaser_australia has a mighty drink for the brave and #bbt fanatics. The lot even comes with 2 straw holes. Coming in at $9.90 you get *takes a deep breat* #milktea, pearls, red beans, Rainbow jelly, herbal jelly, white pearls (aiyu), pudding, aloe vera, oreo crumb and cheese layer... The cheese taste is a bit lost amongst everything going on in this drink, but you can still taste all the different pearls. However it's just so much we didn't even have dinner Dont forget to bring a straw kit out for this beast!

01.01.2022 Home DIY #bbt for lockdown We tried this particular brand of pearls with sakura latte and matcha latte. This particular brand of pearls didn't have much taste even though we covered them in honey after boiling as instructed ... We also used soy milk (health lol) as the base for the #sakura and #matcha but should have used regular milk as it overpowered. The key lesson here is add sugar, lots if sugar Stay tuned as we try to use up our #pearls @ Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
