We have an abundance of passi...on fruit from the garden at home, so I have made an example of a super easy anti-aging body scrub that is certain to delight. High in polyphenols, vitamin C and Vitamin A to help refine and restore the skin. Light some candles, pour some wine and combine half a passion fruit in a mortar with a splash of good quality veg oil (think olive or avocado to increases the antioxidants!) use the pestle to crush the passion fruit seeds, releasing all those beautiful essential fatty acids. 03.01.2022 @superpregnant_ woah! What a reality check. Isn’t the body truly incredible?! I remember.. When I left hospital after the birth of Arly Bear, I felt raw and very defeated. I was in a beautiful love bubble with my baby and husband, but after having had three failed inductions and 44 hours of pre labour that didn’t progress... I truly felt that I had failed in some way, that my body had let me down. That I wasn’t strong enough somehow. Everybody said the weight would just d...rop off that breastfeeding would take care of that extra 25 kg that I put on during my pregnancy. It didn’t. 11 months on and I have literally worked my butt off. It hasn’t just been about loosing weight, A big part of the person you are changes when you become a mum. So much of your whole world and identity fuses with this little being, and it can be hard to find yourself again. I haven’t felt myself in a long while, and being a mother forces you to confront your fears, weaknesses and learn true strength. Mentally and physically I have struggled at times this past two years. But each day my body proves to me that while change can be small, over time it can amount to something worthy. I am not where I was before, I never will be and I don’t want to be. I just want to be me, as I am now.
