24.01.2022 Life is such a a amazing journey. In my 20’s I was a bit of a floater. I worked many different jobs and really didn’t know where I was going until I learned to ask what I want. Up until then I was a victim of my own life and it was all because I was not an assertive person. Or when I was it came out as aggression and backfired. Over time I have learnt how to be assertive, ask for what I want and then create a life I want. Don’t get me wrong being assertive is definitely a t...alent. It’s something I am still working on today. Why? Because we fear conflict, what others will think of us, and making other people unhappy. We are scared of what could be. This can also play out at home, at work and in friendships. But if I have to say one small thing that changed my whole life is was definitely this. It’s opened opened up job opportunities, helped me sort difficult situations and most importantly it’s helped me gain respect. For me respect is something you lose when you’re no assertive. 22.01.2022 This was a hard one for me to learn. My idea of healthy was eating the perfect diet and exercising every day. But changing that much from today to tomorrow seemed overwhelming. So I just didn’t do it! But when I learned to break it down and limit what perfect actually meant it was so much easier. We are so hard on ourselves when it comes to our health we put society’s idea of what healthy means first and we forget that we are an individual that needs something completely diff...erent to the person standing next to us. The healthier the relationship and healthier we are. If it’s an unhealthy relationship then it causes stress in our body. If you were in this position would you know what to do! It’s an interesting one because everyone’s body reacts differently under intense stress. Especially a crisis. A true leader can identify the phase of stress they’re in and put in processes to calm the body. ... Being aware of how your body reacts to stress and understanding what it needs is the first step. But what makes a leader is understanding and identifying stress in the body of an employee. Then supporting them to take care of their body. Stress is an energy that can be caught and it happens much quicker than a cold. When a leader is stressed and they don’t take care of themselves it gets passed on in the form of negative energy. 20.01.2022 It’s that time of year when all the beautiful summer foods come out. It’s my favourite time of year as I find my appetite is suppressed more because of the heat and the foods I eat are very different to winter foods. Fruit is big for me in summer along with meat and salads. It’s very different to my diet in winter which is more meat and three veg, soups or stews. While most people change their diets from Winter to Summer what is good for me is not necessarily good for you. So...me bodies don’t need meat at all and this is healthy for them. While other need all their food heated so it digests easily. Others can eat raw cold food. We are all different and knowing what is right for you can help you fix digestive problems, give you energy, help with nutrient issues etc. if you are one who listens to your body you know where you are headed. 20.01.2022 When you communicate with someone are you thinking about what you have to say or are you hearing the message from the person in front of you? I have been working super hard to understand those around me. Understanding how they communicate differently, language, body language and lack of communication. Because we are all so uniquely different and more often than not we perceive communication wrong because it’s not how we would do it. But when we understand the unique way each ...and every one of us communicates, we can have a better understanding of the world, plus we stop creating those little stories about why/not people do and don’t do something. I am one who gives little information (unless asked), but I crave lots of it. So I ask lots of questions. I like to connect with people and I thrive on their connection back. 19.01.2022 Body shape is such a controversial conversation. It doesn’t matter how a woman looks she is most often than not unhappy with something to do with her body. Society has crated this unrealised image of what it considers perfect and it’s so far from what is real. The reality is most women have a body that is endomorphic, it has curves, holds muscle and body fat and it’s actually healthy for this body to be this way (coinciding with a good epigenetics) The bodies that we get m...arketed too are the super models of the world. These bodies are ectomorphic, there are far less female bodies like these on the planet. Then there are the mesomorphic bodies. That’s me! 19.01.2022 I have been asked many times what my end goal is and to be honest I really don’t have one. I set myself goals daily. Some days it’s just to survive the day ahead. Other days it’s to complete talks or to make sure I focus on my kids and ensure they’re happy. Either way I am always in a construction phase. But I make sure that phase is working towards a greater cause. Happiness and living a full life. Got to try this one. 2 tablespoons Unsweetened cocoa powder 2 pieces Stevia packets 16 medium Hulled Strawberries, stems removed... 1 tablespoon Mini dark chocolate chips Instructions 1 Blend tofu, cocoa powder and stevia in a food processor until smooth. They are Christmas Frozen Yoghurt Bark and here’s how to make them. 500 grams Greek yogurt 3 medium Kiwis... 5 medium Chopped Strawberries 1 teaspoon Dried cranberries, sweetened Instructions 1. Thinly slice the kiwis and then, using a tree shaped cookie cutter, cut a tree from each slice. 2. Line a rimmed baking tray with baking paper. 3. Pour the yogurt into the centre of the tray and spread evenly. 4. Place the kiwi trees, strawberries and cranberries as desired onto the yogurt. 5. Freeze until completely solid (approx. 4 hours.) 6. Cut into sections and serve. 7. Place sections into a zip lock bag and store in the freezer. You could chop up the remains of the kiwi slices and stir through the yogurt before spreading or scatter on top. You may wish to add a some honey or maple syrup to the yogurt, depending on your taste buds. 17.01.2022 I used to hold myself back a lot. I was always waiting for something, like a new years resolution or Monday. There was always an excuse. 15.01.2022 There is one week in every year where our bodies needs to relax and rejuvenate. That week is different for each and everyone of us. For me this is the second week in May. For the past two years I have worked through this week and ignored the recommendations. And each time within a few days I have come down with a cold or flu. 11.01.2022 What does sleep mean to you? I know for me it revitalises me but only if I sleep at the right times. If I get it wrong it only takes two weeks of getting it wrong each night before my body starts to go into a burn out phase, I then get headaches, can’t concentrate, make mistakes, get details wrong etc. my life at home and at work suffers. Now I am sure you’re wondering what this has to do with this photo. At this time in my life I was unaware of the power of sleep and how it ...helps us recover from the day. I had a massive headache in this photo and I had taken some painkillers just to get through this photo shoot. I hadn’t been out partying or stayed up super late. It was just the cumulative effect of late nights (only by an hour) that pushed my body into a state of burnout. Unaware of why, I continued to do this to my body suffering headaches for much of my 20’s. For the first time since understanding how important sleep is I did this again this month. It only took two weeks of late nights (10pm to bed) and I’ve suffered headaches everyday. It then took me another two weeks of going to bed at 8:30 to get my body back into alignment. I am an early bird so going to sleep early means I can be in my best health. How aware are you of what your body needs and when. Or have you failed to listen and got used to living in a state of pain all the time? The only problem I have it I can’t stop at one. 1/2 cup Raw Natural Almonds or Cashews 1/4 cup Dried Coconut, unsweetened 4 medium Prunes... 2 tablespoons Hemp Seeds 2 tablespoons Vanilla or Unsweetened Protein Powder 3 tablespoons Smooth Natural Almond Butter or Tahini 1 tablespoon Raw Cacao Powder 3 tablespoons Stevia Chocolate Syrup 1 pinch Salt 1 tablespoon Carob Chips, unsweetened (or cacao nibs) Instructions 1. In a food processor, whir the cashews and coconut to break down the nuts. 2. Add remaining ingredients except the carob chips and processor until the mixture forms a moist dough that sticks together when pressed between your fingers. 3. (For the ACD Stage 1 version, you may need to add a teaspoon or two of water for the dough to stick togetherbut don’t add more than that before testing! It will move from crumbly to paste very quickly with too much water). 4. Add carob chips and pulse a few times to combine and break down the chips a bit. 5. Using about 15 ml dough at a time, roll into small balls. 6. Refrigerate and store in a covered container in the refrigerator. 7. Makes 12-13 bites. May be frozen. Note(s) Suitable for: ACD All Stages, sugar-free, gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free, egg free, soy-free, yeast-free, vegan, low glycemic.

07.01.2022 Yep that was me! If I didn’t get credit I didn’t try again. This is something that only hurts us in the long run. In my head I thought well why did I try for that person. When I should have been thinking I am going to do it bigger and better next time. We focus on what others think and when we don’t get credit we create a story about why we weren’t praised. Humans are the ultimate story tellers. We create stories around everything we do and it’s because we need clarificati...on. When we don’t get clarification we give reason to our thought process. Now it wouldn’t be so bad if we kept our thoughts to ourselves but sometimes, just sometimes we start believing in our little story. I am the first to admit I have done this before. And I know many of you have too. The power lays in how we react to it. We can choose to sought out the truth or we can choose to voice our story. 06.01.2022 I have always loved up skilling but the course I just did last week was absolutely unmatched. It was the ph360 professional medical series. I had so many moments when I was learning about the body and thought why doesn’t the public know this already. Well you will soon because I am going to share as much with you as possible over the next couple of weeks as I go back through my notes. Society has given us an image of how we should look and act and it’s so far from life itself. We fear judgement, shame, embarrassment, so we don’t try again. Recently I started working with a group of very inspirational people. They’re not afraid to fail. What’s even more amazing is they’re not afraid to fail in front of me. They don’...t get embarrassed by it and they don’t let it affect their mental well being. They talk about their failure, what they learned from it and how they’re going to fix it next time. When I watch it playing out in front of me I don’t think ‘oh hey that person just failed’ I think ‘wow!!! That person is driven to succeed’ They empower me! I watch them learning from all their mistakes and it makes me want to go out and make mistakes and learn from them too. 04.01.2022 It’s starting to warm up in Aus so I thought we could bring out some yummy summer treats. Mixed Berry Iceblocks 1 cup Raspberries 1 cup Blueberries 1 cup Blackberries... 2 cups Sliced Strawberries 6 tablespoons Simple Syrup or more according to taste 2 tablespoons Lemon juice Instructions 1. To make simple syrup: 2. Combine equal parts water and granulated sugar. Bring mixture to a boil. Cool to room temperature. Store in airtight container and keep chilled in the fridge until ready to use. 3. In a blender or food processor, puree together raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries. 4. Add simple syrup and lemon juice. Adjust sweetness according to taste. 5.
