20.01.2022 Surgery went well, home today So I ended up with a radial head osteotomy, with internal fixation 2 x Screws; removal of cartilage piece jammed in the elbow joint; detached lateral ligaments and folded open like a banana for the complex angle correction of the radius, then reattached.....now the long process of recovery Needless to say its a touch sore lol... Thanks to everyone for their well wishes, I hope to get back to physio as soon as I can Cheers Brendan

18.01.2022 Hey guys, an update on where I am at with things... Unfortunately there are some major problems with my right elbow and I go in for surgery in Brisbane Friday. This will be a big procedure which will most likely see me out of action for at least another 5-6 weeks THANKYOU to everyone for your kind support and I hope to be back on deck as soon as possible!!... 14.01.2022 BodyFit Physiotherapy is pleased to have Joy Dearling and Tamara Hall now part of our team. Joy is out the front answering your phone calls and booking everyone in and doing our general admin work. Tamara is our part time Physiotherapist, she is here on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We welcome both wonderful ladies to our team and thanks for helping us as we get busier and expand our service to the Darling Downs.

08.01.2022 APOLOGIES TO ALL MY LOYAL CLIENTS Unfortunately I had an accident last night (Thursday 16th) falling quite badly, fracturing both my arms near the elbows Needless to say I will be out of action for some time as the fractures heal (hopefully avoiding surgery at this stage) ... Kristine will contact all of you that have appointments at present over the next few days I am so sorry that this has happened, we will attempt to engage a locum Physio if one is available and willing to come out to Oakey. We will keep everyone updated, but please look after yourselves and I hope to see you all again as soon as I can! Cheers Brendan

04.01.2022 LATEST UPDATE Bad news Unfortunately... due to complications, Brendan requires a second surgery to reconstruct the ligaments and insert stabilising mesh in his elbow. During this time we will not be taking any appointments. Recovery and Rehabilitation will take some time, however we will reopen as soon as possible. ... We apologise for the inconvenience, and appreciate your support and understanding during this VERY difficult time. Thankyou

02.01.2022 My apologies for cancellations at the moment, I was diagnosed with whooping cough 3 weeks ago (needed to stay home for a week during contagious period ), symptoms persist for 1-3 months! So Ive been battling thru those. The last few days I have been feeling worse, and yesterday was diagnosed with influenza as well! To say the least Im not doing so well! Please be patient, Ill be back on deck as soon as possible Thanks for your understanding ... Brendan
