23.01.2022 Hard to believe that this is my LAST MONDAY at tafe... this is my very last week of being at tafe full time!!!! Mixed feelings, however I do have some great things happening for afterwards :) I will be able to take bookings for my new room in town as of next week so I look forward to seeing everyone again!

23.01.2022 Are you all ready for Christmas??? Seems to be creeping up really fast this year for some reason... one minute it's March and we are in lock down... I blinked and it's Christmas the next The clinic Midwest Chiropractic will be shut from Christmas until the 4th of January, however I will have appointments available during that time. I also have gift vouchers for Remedial Massage treatments available if you wish to gift someone a massage this year you can grab those from Donna at reception or message me and I can arrange something as well. 21.01.2022 First day of our last time massaging clients at TAFE today! Nervous is a bit of an understatement seeing as most of us havent had any clients since pre lock down everyone who has signed up to come in, thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! It means so much to me and I have worked hard and gave up things (yes i mainly mean crossfit ) so I can focus more on this and its nearly finished and I am grateful to have you in my final weeks to support me with the added benefit of getting a few massages Exciting things are happening for my massage and bowen journey so keep tuned

16.01.2022 Did you know your top loader cant wash your clothes warm enough to get rid of viruses??? Lucky i love my German made appliances and my trusty Miele front loader gets the job done at 95 degrees even if I wish to do so. so far I have converted 2 of my friends to using front loaders in their homes and they both love them. I sure am glad I have one now!!!! There are so many new things to consider now with hygiene around massage. Some I think should have been in place for a long time, but i will be doing my best to make sure everything is clean and safe when I return to massaging in a few weeks.

14.01.2022 Countdown Until the end of my Remedial Massage Diploma... I have learnt so much and still so much to learn, but its such a great feeling to know that I will have that elusive provider number very soon PLUS the knowledge behind me to give my clients relief of their niggles with massage. I will have a full on next 31 days thanks to Covid restrictions and lots of rearranging, then rearranging again and again when the rules changed again, but we will get there very soon!!!!

04.01.2022 Hope everyones weekend was as great as mine Just a reminder I am still waiting for my provider numbers so massages are $75 until then and you CAN NOT yet claim your rebates. I am working hard (ringing or visiting TAFE daily) to get my paperwork, but there isnt a lot more i can do to hurry it along at this stage

04.01.2022 Whatever you want to call them.... "knots", "trigger points" or all the other hilarious names I have heard people call them.... this is what they are and look like... Once I have warmed your muscles enough, I will gently work on the "knots" and your skin may appear red for a while and feel warm as the blood rushes back into the areas that were previously blocked. Now your body can remove metabolic waste from those areas again and facilitate healing and renewal of cells. Whe...n I hold a trigger point, I am always looking for a 7 out of 10 discomfort level at first and hold it until it becomes a 3 or a 4. I never want to cause your body to tense up or feel that much discomfort that you feel the need to hold your breath or cross your legs and squeeze (what I do as soon as I sit in the dentist chair). There is simply no need for that kind of pressure and it wont allow your muscles and body to relax... no point releasing tension in one area only to create it elsewhere, right!? See more

03.01.2022 So this came through today!!!!!! :) so excited!!!!!!! Now all i have to do is wait for my provider numbers for the different health funds to trickle in!!!!! They said it may take "up to 4 weeks" so hopefully they are quicker!

You now have a choice of either H2O sports massage oil (smells a bit like deep heat), all natural Almond oil (no smell) or my new premax massage lotion (also no smell) and for neck treatments I will be using premax massage cream and it smells so good I want to sit in it Still have weekend spots at this stage and one today ...
