23.01.2022 Observations by residential artist Daniela d'Arielli "Bogong village, where the trace of human settlement are reduced to the minimum and the remains of an artificial past can be recognised, nature is mighty."

21.01.2022 If you are in Canberra over the weekend pop in to the Nishi Gallery for Polar Convergence Panel Discussion. The exhibition runs to July 27. It features the sound works of Philip Samartzis and photos of Rohan Hutchinson.

20.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Thank you so much for all your good wishes, they are much appreciated. Due to the uncertainty of the fires, we decided to cancel the summer residen...cy. Hopefully, all will be well for the Autumn residencies. At the moment, we have decided not to take any further residencies. However, although the BCSC is quiet on the residency front we have an exhibition titled 'Notes from the Field' happening at MAMA - Murray Art Museum Albury in the middle of the year. The exhibition will feature some of the work produced by residential artists. I will post again when I have more news. In the meantime enjoy the rest of summer and stay safe. See more

20.01.2022 Hi everyone we have had lots of caring emails from artists who are concerned for the BCSC and our safety. Both Philip and myself are safe in Melbourne. Bogong Village, Falls Creek have been evacuated. Hopefully, the BCSC, the Village and the community survive un-ravaged. I will post again when we have more news. Thank you for your thoughts.

12.01.2022 There are some wonderful sounds and some great information on this site.

11.01.2022 Shannon Collis' work KIEWA is another wonderful creative outcome produced as a result of undertaking the BCSC Supported Residency program. The essay by Deborah Barkun eloquently describes the landscape of the High Plains, Bogong and the work.
