11.01.2022 Got a delivery of some shiney pretty things 2 x Amertrine Gemstones - these are unique as they are bi-colour .... naturally occurring when Amethyst & Citrine form together. As a stone of both balance and connection, ametrine is believed to relieve tension, bring serenity and stimulate creativity, as well as balance mental stability and self-confidence.Ametrine is considered a double boost to remove toxins from the body, as both amethyst and citrine are detoxifiers.... 2 x Tourmaline Gemstones - These are also bi-colour. It promotes self-confidence and diminishes fear. Tourmaline attracts inspiration, compassion, tolerance and prosperity. It balances the right-left sides of the brain.

05.01.2022 Super excited ..... just recieved my first online order this arvo of tools I was unable to get locally from Australian Jewellers Supplies pty ltd in Bris-Vegas. My goal is to set up my workspace in the shed this weekend ..... arrrggghghhh We have:... - Genuine "Smith Little" welding/torch kit - Rawhide mallet - Adjustable saw frame & saw blades - Utility jeweller file set - Combination bench pin & anvil ..... itsssss happpennninngggg !!!!

I hope everyone had a chillaxed Christmas & New Year's break Just remembered that I wanted to share with you my latest metalsmithing workshop I attended last week with "Sands in time Design" in Howard Springs, taught by Debra The "Spinner Ring" ... This is my lil' ring of the cosmos I decided on an Argentium Silver shank ... used the rolling mill to press in my design .... then used other metals as the spinners .... gold, rose gold, stirling silver & brass. LOVE, LOVE LOVE how it turned out and is this week's favorite

03.01.2022 The journey of a wanna be Jeweller continues !!! Super excited !!!!! ..... well more of a slow burning excitement !! .... this is one of them long term goals The metalsmith/silversmith & jewllery workstation is coming together, Bill negotiated a spot in his shed for me .... ended up finding another awesome desk on buy/swap sell .... those old roll top desks .... couldn't help myself & had to get it ... Few more tools are needed before I can reaaallly start .... gotta get a Foredom Multi-tool & silicone discs for buffing and then purchase some Brass, Copper, Argentium & Stirling Silver sheets & wire to actually start creating !!!
