22.01.2022 Hi All, The introduction of our new tube ice product Bohle" Black Label Ice", is having great sales across Townsville. Customers are commenting on how loose this new ice is within the bag. What is the difference ?.... Our cube ice has more mass and will last longer, however the solid square blocks tend to fuse together and this cube ice requires a little bag breaking to loosen it up. The new "Black label" is a tight 7/8"round ice with less surface area to fuse together, so it remains nice and loose without having to thump the bag. " Try some in ya Rum " " Black is the new Red." 16.01.2022 We have had many calls this week in regards to Bohle Premium Ice no longer supplying packaged ice to the CALTEX Kirwan and Vincent fuel stations. Sorry guy's it was not our decision to leave. Bohle Ice can still be purchased at NightOwl Kirwan across the road in Charles st or drop over and see Upen and staff at Golf Links Mini Mart and grab a bag or two.... Jenny at JAG MINI MART also sells Bohle Premium Ice as do the Fishing Warehouse team at Domain. If you need to know where to find our ice just give us a call we are happy to point you to another location in your area ! We put a fair bit of work into the Caltex Burdell site over the last few years making sure the site never ran out of ice, however that site will also be given to Sydney based Bells Ice today. 12.01.2022 CALTEX AND HARROS FUEL. We have seen the articles in The Townsville Bulletin over the last couple of weeks with regards to Caltex taking back sites from local franchise operators. The Bulletin said this week that Caltex will offer jobs to the sites existing staff, however the change has implications for locally owned and operated small businesses.... Bohle Premium Ice would like to thank Scott and Kylie Harrison who have had the Alligator Creek, Vincent, Kirwan and Burdell sites for the past 5 years. The Harrisons have been great supporters of small local businesses and we thank them for their support of our product and service and wish them all the best with their future endeavours. Caltex has apparently chosen a different supply path for packaged ice supply, in our case a national contract with a Sydney based conglomerate. So to all the public who have been purchasing our ice for years now, we thank you ! 12.01.2022 Most regular customers of Bohle Premium Ice are aware we run a couple of 24/7 Honesty freezer boxes. The way it works is simple you grab the amount of ice you require any time day or night and place the correct cash into the payment tin for regular collection. The coastguard freezer is used not only by Fishermen but businesses and just the average punter looking for ice 24/7 access the freezer. 10kg bags are $6.60 each. This box at the Townsville Coastguard boat ramp and has... been the target of a serial thief over the past 6 months. After a modification to the cash box 6 weeks ago we thought all as good but the robber has returned steeling more $ notes from the takings tin again last weekend. The primary function of this freezer for Bohle Ice is basically to cover our costs with profit from each bag of ice sold donated directly to the volunteer Coastguard to assist them in their great work. The CCTV at the site is of poor quality, however an upgrade is not far away, so if Karma does not catch up with the thief i just might ! When i do i will display the culprit here for all to view. Bohle Ice is donating ice, joining a number of other local businesses, in support of our farming communities through this event. 02.01.2022 Great News, Bohle Premium Ice have entered into an arrangement to continue suppling Ice to the Coastguard boat ramp into the future. At this 24/7 SELF SERVE site we have recently introduced block ice for sale at $5.00 each, or the big bags of cube ice you can purchase for $7.00 each. Inc.... Our business has been able to donate to VMR408 Coastguard for the past 5 years, every bag of ice sold from this venue contributes. We are proud to be able to continue our support for this very worthwhile volunteer Org. Happy boating !

01.01.2022 Hi All As you can see from todays Townsville Bulletin 02/12/16, the coastguard freezer is being abused with ice being taken without payment. Even though we operate an honesty payment system the taking of a 10kg bag of ice without payment is just the same as driving off without paying for fuel. The CCTV is being upgraded at the site and hopefully the Bohle Premium Ice team can continue this service. So purchase your ice at the Coastguard so we can give the maximum amount of do...nations to this Volunteer organisation to assist their great work !
