24.01.2022 Went to the Drive-In on Saturday night. Saw a couple of cars broken down with steam pouring out. With summer on its way, make sure your cooling system is in good order. Get it checked out before its too late.

18.01.2022 We had a customers car towed in this week after being told it had a seized engine. The towy wanted to take it else where but fortunately the customer decided to get a second opinion. After a quick inspection we found it had a faulty ignition switch and there was nothing wrong with the engine. It never hurts to get a second opinion. If youre unsure give me a call, it could save you plenty. 55 710 522.

12.01.2022 I had a vehicle presented to me recently to have tuning work done. The vehicle had previously been looked after by another mechanic who was currently unwell. I took the car for a test drive and noticed the brakes were unsatisfactory. After resetting the tune adjustment I had a look at the brake system and was horrified at what I saw. These poor elderly people were driving around in an absolute death trap. I know there are a lot of places offering cheap services, but wh...at are you really getting for your money. Theres a lot more to servicing a car than changing the oil and filter. Every vehicle that comes to our workshop gets a thorough check over to make sure its safe to drive. 11.01.2022 When was the last time you had your fuel filter changed? This photo shows the compelling reason to renew your fuel filter on a regular basis. Your cars performance and economy are highly reliant on a clean fuel system. Dirty fuel can lead to premature fuel pump and injector failure and nobody wants that. It will also be costing you more at the pump. We recommend replacing your cars fuel filter every 20,000klms, both petrol and diesel. 10.01.2022 Tip 1. Maintaining your cars cooling system and the proper coolant level is as important as making sure the engine is well lubed and can save you hundreds of dollars in repairs. A Cooling system failure can result in your engine literally melting down. The lack of proper coolant and maintenance of hoses can cause big problems down the tracks. Most car manufacture...rs recommend you flush the coolant every 24 months or 40,000 Klm. Dont just assume because your coolant is green/red that it is ok. Have it checked to make sure the concentration of coolant is correct. Even though the weather is cooling down, cooling systems still need to be looked after. All cars serviced at Boland Mechanical Services have their cooling systems inspected and the concentration level checked. See more

I wash my hands about 50 times a day, but that may have a bit to do with my OCD... Your safety and wellness is absolutely our priority as is the health and well being of your car. 05.01.2022 As you can clearly see, the brake pad on the right is worn out. The only way to tell for sure is by having a visual inspection. Dont wait until you hear them grinding, by then its too late. Make sure you have a thorough safety check before you head off on your well earned break.
