18.01.2022 Advertising for a Friend, Think it’s time for a change as I have 2 HQ Monaro’s, I’ve seen something for sale I like so I am putting my GENUINE 1974 Holden HQ Monaro GTS/4 up for sale (no clone or tribute), tags and chassis match. Owned it for 18 years and had so much fun in this car. Factory GTS & Chrome Yellow, black trim car, factory 308 car (do not have original engine). Car was painted 18 years ago and still present excellent, trim was redone about 6 years ago, front end ...rebuilt again 2 years ago. New reco bumpers front and rear recently, tuff streeter that can used for what its built for. Engine: Dart block 414 cube SBC, Callies rotating assy, JE pistons, AFR Heads, Comp cams valve train and Comp street roller cam, SV2 Manifold with QF DB 950 carb, adjustable ICE ignition and booster, pump 98 engine, made 615hp and runs 10.59 @ 129mph in full street trim. Trans: Raceglides Transbraked Powerglide (just freshened), SDE 5500 8 converter. Diff: Shortened 9 with 31 spline billet axles, 1000hp Strange carrier with Eaton True Trac, chromoly adjustable trailing arms, tail shaft loop. Brakes: WB 1 Master, Booster and pedal setup, VE Vacuum pump with slotted front rotors, factory rear drums. Fuel System: Factory tank with small sump on the bottom with outlets, Aeromotive SS street pump (750hp), fuel line. Exhaust: 1 7/8 Castle Headers, twin 3 exhaust with X pipe and Hooker Aerochamber max flow mufflers and 2 sets of tailpipes. Interior: Redone Factory black trim, including dash pad, B&M shifter, Autometer tach and gauges. Wheels: Will be sold with either a choice or Aluma Stars or Street Pro Autodrags, 255/60 rear tyre, have had 275/60 under it but not at this ride height.
