23.01.2022 Lockdown here in SA so decided to finish off load dev on the 175gr Berger Elite Hunters with the .284 Shehane... have to shoot them against the 168VLD at KM before whole heartedly making the switch but looks to be a strong argument to do so as they shoot well and have a decent BC advantage. Hot day here, 32C with a 40 degree from DOF wind at 3ms-1, 970m DA. Did a nice 0.3moa 3 shot group with a 20thou jump and 58.8gr 2213SC (which shot a 0.65moa group yesterday with 100tho...u jump) so headed back and loaded up 5 to verify. Couldn’t keep my shit together for the 5. First 2 about 0.4moa apart then next two cut the first shot making it look very impressive as it was all windage in the group. Probably shouldn’t have sent the last as the heat was giving a mirage that I should have waited out, it ended up 31mm higher than my cluster. Oh well. Still a 0.561moa group.

15.01.2022 For the guys looking for a fast bush stalking or around the farm scope with the option of cranking to 9x for those longer shots... this scope is glorious. We haven’t been this excited about a delta scope since the Strykers came out. This scope is exceptional for its purpose. We will be putting it on our 6x45 (6-223) for doing all of our farm jobs, from culling to euthanasia, but we also now want one for a 375 Holland and Holland. Really really excited to have this in our hands and will get it out and about ASAP. At $1200 inc GST this is one awesome little scope.

Built around a floating dot, which gives a precise centre aim point without obscuring target details along with detailed subtensions for precise holdover. The 0.2 MRAD graduations on the crosshairs increase in size from 0.2 0.8 MRAD, with a dot marking each full MRAD. This subtle size and shape difference draws the eye and allows you to quickly mil targets... for range without taking the time to count the graduations. Weve used it atleast weekly since it arriving in Australia and can frankly say that it is still the best civilian rangefinder we have ever used. The latest updates with image sharing and google maps integration also make game recovery a breeze out in the paddock especially considering current crop heights which used to result in the old its over there followed by back and forth up barley rows, what a nightmare. Now we just tag the location with the TerrapinX, get the GPS location and go straight to it.

Every time we use the @novagrade with the Delta Titanium EDII spotting scope we are impressed by the performance. 03.01.2022 We did this up for a customer to give perspective of how similar in performance the 2 rifles he was looking at were and thought there may be a few out there also interested. Do however note the Shehane isnt running what we would call its optimum bullet weight, as we believe it would be better served with the 175 Elite Hunter or 180 VLD and we are sure our next barrel will focus on these bullets, its just that we have a lot of the 168gr Bergers on the shelf so until they are used up have no urgency to change. Edit: there is a typo with the very last RemV (800m) on the WSM it is meant to be 1623fps , 1689fps is 750m not 800m, so difference is -150fps
