23.01.2022 For sisters Lynne, Margie and Melita, choosing to live at a Bolton Clarke retirement community is "the best move we ever made."

23.01.2022 Fairview residential #agedcare community has welcomed some tiny visitors in partnership with Queensland Intergenerational Playgroups. Children aged between 0-5 will visit residents for a weekly playdate featuring games, stories, sing-a-longs and morning tea. Here 103-year-old resident Kitty enjoyed playing puzzles with 15-month-old Harrison.

22.01.2022 Bongaree retirement village resident Peter has been making rockinghorses for many years now. Using quality materials, they're a labour of love that take months to put together - but Peter says it's worth it to see the joy the kids get from their new toy. Peter crafts them all by hand - just like an elf! #merrychristmas

20.01.2022 Fairview aged care community residents have enjoyed a flower arranging class where they get together once a month for morning tea, catch ups with friends and the opportunity to custom design a beautiful bouquet. Residents keep these in their rooms, gift to friends or display around the community. It's a popular activity and the room is always full of laughter. #flowers #flowerarranging #bouquet #laughter #activeageing #creativity

20.01.2022 Kittie is a remarkable woman, at 103 years old she takes us out into the gardens of Fairview to show off her impressive orchid collection. People always give me their orchids which they think have died but they havent theyre just sleeping. I know how to wake them up again, theyre the most beautiful flower, she said. I have always had a bit of a green thumb and loved gardening nowadays I cant bend down very far but I do like to keep watering them and making sure the...y are blooming. Kittie credits her long life to always keeping busy, a healthy diet and plenty of time outdoors in her garden. Read more about Kittie on our website: https://www.boltonclarke.com.au/kittie-celebrates-her-103r/

20.01.2022 Merry Christmas! From all of us at Fairview - we hope you are enjoying your Christmas Eve! #MerryChristmas

19.01.2022 What is it like to be a Veteran who has experienced mental health issues? Veterans are an important part of the past, present and future of Bolton Clarke (formerly RSL Care + RDNS). We have been caring for veterans in the community, our retirement villages and residential care homes for over 100 years. Our service personnel dedicate their lives to serving our country, and it is our honour to serve them in their time of need. Bolton Clarke's Veteran Family Toolkit was develope...d in conjunction with the Bolton Clarke Research Institute and Altura Learning previously ACC with the support of almost 100 current and ex serving ADF members, their families and ex service organisations. The first module in our Veteran Family Toolkit explores the personal stories of four veterans, encompassing their experiences of deployment, returning to the civilian world and living with #PTSD. With an overall message of hope, each of these Veterans offer a unique insight into life after the military.
