25.01.2022 G'day everyone. This week we're departing from normal schedule, and we'll have a special activity day. We'll get the "Speccie" machine out, as well as have a bunch of zones for fun play, including, obstable course, tackling, goal and handball, as well as a game zone. 25.01.2022 G'day. Week four is here, and I hope all the kids are having fun, and growing in confidence and ability playing AFL. Keep in mind that Auskick is only as successful as the community lets it, this means help from parents and carers is paramount. Please be ready to come to auskick to help your own kids and their friends get the most enjoyment out of the day. The exercises and games we will be setup for this week is below. 23.01.2022 I really dislike calling Auskick off, but this week looks worse than last week. So....No auskick this morning. Sorry kids. FIRST IN BEST DRESSED - I have 7 packs of woolworths snags and around 5 loaves of bread. I'll be at auskick 9:30 if you want these for free. They'll get thrown out otherwise.

23.01.2022 Tonight South East AFL held their annual Auskick Awards. The Bonbeach team had nominations in a number of areas: Auskick Coach of the year nominations there were three from Bonbeach included: Mick Newman, Michael Borrett and Sarina McCarthy. Well done guys and gal... Auskick Parent helper of the year nominations included Michael Borrett, Cliff Anderson and Mick Alford. With such a wonderful feild, I was surprised and honored to be the recipient of this award. Auskick Centre of the year nominations were Karingal, Aspendale and Bonbeach, and Im super proud to announce that we won centre of the year for 2019! Thank you to everybody that nominated our awesome club, and a big thank you to the fantastic coaches, parents and caregivers. Im very proud and humbled to be a part of this community. Bonbeach YCW Junior sports club is a strong, inclusive and supportive organisation that provides our kids with a great environment to play sport. And thats what its about. I pleased to announce that we have a dedicated co-ordinator for the grade 2 kids and up (Level 3), a big thankyou to Catherine Blamey for volunteering her time and energy.... 20.01.2022 G'day auskickers, Last week was rained out, I hope we get full sun and clear skies for this weekend. Couple of notices first - The Auskick team are starting to plan for the final Auskick session. In years gone by, we've had a couple of jumping castles, and made the presentation day a good fun morning, so stay tuned, we'll provide final details by next week. All the kids get a participation medal and certificate.... Speaking of next week, the school holidays are almost upon us. There is DEFINATELY NO AUSKICK on 6th July - first week of the hols. The team is still tossing up whether to put on session 8 on the 13th July. We'll let ya'll know how this pans out on Saturday morning. This week it's WEEK 7. 11.01.2022 gang, can I get a few pics posted from the Ultimate Auskick day two weeks ago, I'd like to share 'em with the wider Bonbeach and AFL southeast community....

08.01.2022 G'day Auskickers! The 2019 Auskick team is thrilled to have won the rebel ultimate Auskick competition. Thanks to all the parents who nominated our centre, especially Kaz Albers, who is also the winner of the rebel match day experience. What this means is that this week, we will have visits from AFLW and AFL players (2 AFLW players, one from Melb, one from Collingwood, and a Collingwood AFL player). They will help out during our normal Week 9 activities, PLUS:... - Biggest boot (longest Kick) comp, winner to get a rebel gift voucher - opportunity to take a picture with the 2019 premiership CUP - photo's/signing and Q&A with the AFL players, - the centre will be presented with some new footies thanks to Frankston Rebel. - heaps more It's going to be a memorable morning. I expect this Saturday will go a bit longer than normal to allow for the extra activities, but we still plan to start at 9:30, so be at the ground at 9:15. Looking forward to seeing you all there, Mick and the 2019 auskick coaches. PS - I do need to advise you that there will be some footage taken on the day on behalf of the AFL, specifically for the AFL Kids social channels (Instagram stories and potentially Instagram feed). Please let me know if you dont want your kids to be part of any filming at all the earlier we can flag those, the better. We will probably give those kids an auskick bib to wear just so we can steer clear of capturing any footage of them. A representative from AFL auskick team will be there on the day to get those kids that do end up on film signing a release form for permission to use them on social media. These release forms will be managed on the day. The filming itself will be pretty straightforward, some kids may appear on camera with the players, no kids will appear on video on their own.

08.01.2022 G'day everyone. A quick shout out, our Senior club, Bonbeach SHARKS are playing Frankston YCW this Saturday, their last home and away game of the year. There will be an auskick half time game available for the Bonbeach Auskick kids to play Frankston Auskick. If you are interested, please reply to this post. Kids who play will get a soft drink and sausage and free entry to the Frankston YCW ground. We'd love to get as many kids along as possible to see our U17's play, inspire our auskickers!... 2:40PM, Same ground we play Auskick at. Entry is free, we've got jumping castles and other activities at the ground, so let's get on down there, cheer the U17's Go SHARKS!

I won't be able to attend so i will need a parent to volunteer as the auskick rep on the day. It's pretty stress free. Dear Auskick Coordinator,... Congratulations, your Auskick centre has been selected to participate in the NAB AFL Auskick Half Time activities. Your centre is invited to play in a GRID GAME during the half time break of an AFL Game. Each Grid Game has 12 x participants of Grade 1-3. Under no circumstances will prep/kinder participants be allowed to play. Please ensure participant grades are correct for the grid game, as we run reports the lists that are provided to us to check the information provided. If you are unable to provide a full list please DO NOT offer it to other year levels that are not list in the above without consulting myself first. There will be no refunds provided for any additional tickets purchased by families of a child who ends up being from an incorrect year level.
