22.01.2022 IN HOME CONSULTATION: FEATURING MR. BLEU (12 MONTHS OLD, AMERICAN STAFFY) In one of the home consultations that I did last week I had the honour of meeting Mr.Bleu and his family. He is a beautiful and smart boy but he lacks obedience and has no control on the leash. As you can see from the first video, hes a very strong boy and the owner has difficulty to walk with him on the lead. Rani(owner) explained to me that she got a few bruises in her arms and hands while trying to... take him for some walks. During the consultation I decided to use a correction chain for his walks. I showed Rani how to use it and how to correct him properly (when hes pulling the lead), and she did amazingly well, as you can see from the video number 2 that was made just after a few minutes of training and corrections. Nowadays we can find a wide range of tools and products for dogs and some of them can really help us to achieve great result with the obedience training. However, knowing how to use it properly is the determining factor for the success of the training. Congratulations to Rani and Bleu! They both did a great job during the training! 17.01.2022 GRADUATED TRAINING PROGRAMME FEATURING MR FERGUS (7 years old Staffordshire Bull Terrier) Mr Fergus has just completed his two-week training programme with success. ... A few years ago Fergus developed a high level of anxiety. As a result he started growling and barking at any dog that approached him. Because of that behaviour his owners became very uncomfortable and unsure of what to do when walking pass a dog. Mr Fergus responded really well to his training and was able to build his confidence back! He is now a much calmer and respectful dog! We’re very proud of you, little man! We focused on his social skills around dogs plus recall training off-leash. ... 09.01.2022 IN-HOME TRAINING FEATURING MR ZORRO(6months old, Am Staffy) A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to travel to the central Coast for a in-home training session.... We were contacted by Mr Zorro s family because they needed help to better deal with some of his behaviours ( play biting; excessively jumping and pulling a lot on lead) Mr Zorro is a very energetic and playful puppy that loves to be around people and dogs and he is also very smart. 08.01.2022 IN HOME TRAINING FEATURING MR ROCKY (4 months old Pomeranian) Mr Rocky is a very happy and energetic puppy who gets too excited during walks and tends to pull and bark a lot.... I went to his house to help his owners to better deal with him. Firstly, we addressed his behaviour inside the house teaching the family some obedience commands and also helping them to show Rocky the correct spot to poop and pee. We were also able to got outside to work on his behavior during the walks. 06.01.2022 Well that was a suprise.... 9 Kinder suprise puppies to be exact! Our beautiful girl Molakai went into labour last night, but it was not without drama! The... first-born puppy got stuck, so her Foster Carer had to rush her to the vet for help and they were born by Emergency C-section! Thankfully Mum and pups are doing well now.... 5 girls & 4 boys! Stay tuned for their kinder surprise names. Unfortunately weve now got an unexpected vet bill of $2,213.09! If anyone would like to contribute to their care, wed be so very grateful. We’re so happy with her improvement during these two weeks. She worked hard to succeed. ... Annie was adopted a few months ago and was found still lactating but there were no puppies with her. The owners took her for the first time to walk around the neighbourhood and they realised that Annie had serious issues around dogs as every time they walked past a dog, she was trying to bite and charge at them, becoming very frustrated and so hard to walk on-lead. After the training, the walking became more enjoyable, for both dog and owners. Also, Annie is working hard to control herself around other dogs, becoming calmer and less anxious. Still a way to go but she’s getting there. We were contacted by Miss Aisa s family because they were struggling a bit and needed help with her excessively barking and also to do some toilet training and learn how to properly walk her on a lead. It was indeed a very successful in-home training session! In just a couple of hours Miss Aisas behaviour improved a lot and Her family is very happy! They will have to be very consistent with her especially considering her excessive barking, but now they have knowledge and with our support they will succeed! 02.01.2022 IN HOME TRAINING FEATURING MISS CHACHA & MISS LILO This is Miss Chacha and Miss Lilo, two beautiful dogs that performed very well during the training session.... Miss Chacha and Miss LiLo are very energetic dogs and their family contacted me because they were destroying objects and furniture while they were left alone during the day. Also another important part of the training were to address their behavior during walks and also to be more respectful with other dogs. During the training session, We worked inside the house teaching the family some basic obedience commands. After that we went for a nice walk whether we were able to work on their behaviour and obedience skills. Usually with energetic dogs that tends to destroy things inside the house it’s important to make sure they can enjoy nice and long walks during the day and also to have some playtime at the dog park, so they can run, play and socialise.
