10.01.2022 BCS Favourite songs #2 The Heart of Worship by Matt Redman (Isaac's favourite) 'It is a song that puts Jesus front and centre, acknowledging that sometimes with Christian songs we tend to just 'sing' instead of 'worship'. ... A part of the verse goes- "I'll bring You more than a song For a song in itself Is not what You have required You search much deeper within" In the modern day, with more elements being added to songs, we must remember why we are singing. If the band, synthesisers and lights are taken away, will it still hold the same for us? Songs are a form of worship, the emphasis should not be put on the music, but rather, who the music is for.'
