Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a special 3Dimensional type of x-ray used at times when regular 2Dimensional dental x-rays do not provide sufficient information. Dentists use this technology to produce images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerves and jaw in a single scan. This is necessary when considering dental implants, bone grafting and sometimes when extracting teeth. At @bondstreetdental we are able to take CBCT images on site, rather than sending you to a hospital setting.
