15.01.2022 On a cold and dank Saturday afternoon, kayaking conditions couldn't have been better with plenty of water and no waves or wind. The sky was grey, the water steel grey and most people were rugged up for the cold in dark boring but warm clothes. Some fantastic racing was done with most people crossing the line within a minute of each other.

15.01.2022 Just heard that Les Custer is having a garage clean-out. These beauties are for sale.

10.01.2022 With the rules of social distancing alive this group of kayakers, some of who actually kayaked today in the thunderstorm and rain, met together for our monthly social bonding/Indian dinner night. A good time was had by all as we complained about our aches and pains and various old people ailments. Good to see everybody out and about for a delicious Indian banquet.

04.01.2022 FAUX RACING. Our regular racing program has been shut down to encourage social/physical distancing as the Covid-19 pandemic has forced upon. So welcome to Faux Racing. This is a race that takes a week. During your allowed solo exercise regime, Paddle the weeks designated course as fast as your ability allows. Record your elapsed time and forward by email to the handicapper/clerk of the course/result collator. Results will be posted by email on Saturday and the next weeks course announced. See the recent club newsletter for more details.

01.01.2022 Faux Racing continued today. Race 14 should have started on Bonville Crk. To my knowledge... Mick Rawtron, Mickey O'Bien and Doug Gayford have record times. So has Viajeros nuevo.
