21.01.2022 **Term 3 Sneak peak** Let's Boogie and Fairy Ballet will be practising their marches along to 'The Grand Old Duke of York'. You can play this song at home and practise marching with high knees and pointed toes like the soliders in this clip. ... We'll be using an instrument in class, to tap the rhythm. You could fill a plastic drink bottle with rice to make a shaker (pop tops are a great size) or if noise is no issue... 20.01.2022 This term we'll be exploring what's 'Over the Rainbow'. Think unicorns, mermaids, princess', dragons, fairies and dessert islands. I wonder what we'll discover first?

17.01.2022 The rainbow parachute is back this term . Each of our classes will use the parachute in a different way. The Fairy Ballet class will practise their skips around the parachute during their warm up. The parachute helps the students to maintain a circle shape while moving in an anticlockwise direction (harder than it seems). Our little dancers also try to lift their knees as high as the parachute while skipping. It's been a hit so far!

07.01.2022 We've been busy over the holidays visiting Preschools, Childcare Centres and Vacation Care Centres for lots of dancing fun! The students at International Grammar School, Sydney, enjoyed a musical trip to Kenya, Greece and Brazil. There was lots of excitement as the children shared their experiences visiting family and holidaying overseas.
