01.01.2022 HAPPY NEW YEAR! Reflecting on this past year, the ICB journey has taken us down many paths. We’ve faced a number of challenges and celebrated many achievements,... all of which have embraced us for an even greater year ahead! This year we have said farewell to Jo Voight, Simone Beatty and Emily Wood, while welcoming Celina McAlister, Danny Cohen, Chloe Frost, Hally Rhiannon-Nammu and Carly Lapthorne to the ICB Team. Amanda Linton has also joined as CEO to progressively take over and enhance the impact of this role. With the additional team members came our office expansion, as we moved into our new and improved ICB Office (right near the best little coffee shop). 2017 saw the first ICB Termination Workshops, with the ICB Support and Resource team presenting these exercise-based training sessions across the country. The feedback we’ve received from these workshops demonstrates the need for more of this hands-on training style, providing further opportunities in 2018. We continue to actively engage with our strategic partners, ensuring the bookkeeping community have access to the most up-to-date and valuable products and solutions. We would like to thank MYOB, Reckon, QBO, Xero, GovReports, IME and Workforce Guardian for their continuous involvement and support to ICB, ICB Members and all Bookkeepers in 2017. We look forward to working with our partners in 2018, and also welcome Career Academy to the mix! The ICB Member base continues to grow, as we have reached an incredible 3,950 active Members going into 2018. This is a clear indication of the growing industry we are apart of, and our goal for 2018 is to continue being a strong (and loud) voice for Bookkeepers! Looking back on 2017, we hope you celebrate your achievements, overcome your challenges, learn and continue to grow and succeed in 2018. On behalf of the ICB team we would like to thank you for your continued support throughout the year and wish you all the best with the New Year!
