21.01.2022 We are pleased to now be distributing Tara Books in Australia. Tara’s range includes beautiful artists books that are screen-printed by hand on hand-made paper, and bound by hand. The hand-made books draw on art a range of Indian art and craft traditions to explore myth, legend and literature from all over the world. Tara also publishes a range of offset-printed children’s books, illustrated books for people of all ages and distinctive stationery. Tara is a social enterprise based in Chennai, India. The workshop pays equitable salaries to the artisans, as well as providing free housing for them and their families, and free education for their children.
