21.01.2022 Boonah Church of Christ Sunday Morning Worship Service 4th October 2020. Prayer is much more than the bedside child on his knees: more complex, more difficult, more paradoxical. It is also more rich, more comforting and more truly supportive in the ragged difficulties of real life. Entering adulthood without a mature grasp of prayer is likely to disappoint, but a deeper understanding offers strong medicine: real meat in a hungry world. 17.01.2022 Child Abuse In Christian Communities: Prevention and Response. This is the first Child Safeguarding course for Christian leaders approved by the Australian College of Theology. It will be offered online and in college next year, so could be accessed by missionaries on the field. 13.01.2022 Boonah Church of Christ Sunday Morning Worship Service 27th September 2020. Our speaker this morning is Martin Fleming and our worship leader and communion leader is Wayne Vogler. Martin's message is entitled "Joseph, a Man of Faith. In the message Martin recounts that Joseph suffered many injustices throughout his life, but his faith in God never wavered. As a result he appears in the great panoply of special examples of faith. This morning's bible references are: Hebrews Chapter 11 verses 1-2 and verse 22. Is there any thought too rude to pray? Somehow, the Bible seems to invite both respect and rudeness in Prayer. More prayer paradoxes follow on from last week's message.
