23.01.2022 School holidays have been and gone and students already are hard at work. Our first project for Term 3 was a Day at the Organ,on Saturday enjoyed by piano students. The younger students gave the organ a great workout while the older ones acquitted themselves very well.

19.01.2022 Decision time for entry into the last intake of AMEB exams for 2015, enrolments end 2nd September, 2015. You need a well thought out practice schedule along with some determination.

12.01.2022 Lessons in Term 3 are available face to face, working within the Covid guidelines. There are still limited piano places for higher grade students up to L.Mus.A. Only hourly lessons will be considered for Grade 5 and above.

11.01.2022 We have been delighted that even with Covid 19 we have had students prepare and sit their AMEB exams. We have missed the Eisteddfods and concerts but there are other goals and at our music school we are stretching ourselves to reach those goals.

11.01.2022 Currently, we are in the middle of school holidays, although some of us have been busy with various musical activities. School will resume on Monday 20th July, 2015.

04.01.2022 Busy days at Silkstone Eisteddfod, great work girls.

03.01.2022 Final week of Term 3. Recent AMEB Exam results have been delayed, we will text you the results as soon as received. Have a safe wonderful holiday. Silkstone Eisteddfod commences as soon as Term 4 commences, please practise your pieces and learn your words.

03.01.2022 Term 4 was extremely busy, Silkstone Eisteddfod then the final push for the last AMEB exams that took some students right to the end of Term 4. 2015 was a great year for our music school. Wonderful exam results, well done. Our school concert was again divided into three sections with the little ones stealing our hearts and bringing a tear to some parents eyes. The Primary students were delightful and impressive. In the High School/Adults concert we moved to the more serious music. It is wonderful to see the students heading up to 6th Grade and beyond. The Cup Cake Choir is becoming very popular with about 25 when they are all together. Not sure if it's the cupcake reward or the singing that is most popular. We are all enjoying a well earned rest. Safe and happy holiday.
