13.01.2022 Summer is coming and that means lunch boxes start to warm up quicker... Not such good news for yoghurt loving kids! We enjoy putting frozen berries in yogurt to... help keep it cool. Some kids hate chunks in their yoghurt so we came up with another method and this one involves some "sneaky veg" if you choose to do so! We pureed some mixed Berries ( strawberry and blueberry) with a touch of water and a handful of spinach. Then poured the mixture into some silicone trays and froze. Pop them in the lunch box with the yoghurt and it will defrost into a smooth paste that the kids can mix into the yoghurt by snack time!

08.01.2022 From a parent's point of view, it often seems like children just plow through life, seemingly oblivious or just unconcerned about their own safety, and that we ...need to hover over them every step of the way to tell them "no" and to "be careful." In reality, children constantly practice and hone their ability to judge risk - but they can only do it if we let them. Young children who play outside often gradually learn what they are capable of and rarely do things that are outright dangerous. This is something I've heard from forest school teachers over and over again, and also something that I've observed in my own children. Naturally, us parents have to set some boundaries to protect our children from danger, but normal risky play, for example climbing trees, roughhousing, being around fire and using tools, should be cherished as an essential part of childhood.
