The most important element of puppy school for a new pup is socialisation. So in the absence of puppy school, get your new puppy out and about interacting with lots of other dogs in all shapes and sizes. People too, young and old. The more your puppy can experience while they are young, the more normal these experience will become.

As of today (Monday 25th of May), we are inviting an owner to be with their pet during appointments again. We are hoping this positive step will begin to reduce some of the awful wait times and shivering in the cold by the back or front door! Coming for an appointment? - Still call when you arrive at the clinic and wait in your car. - The vet will get you by coming to the car, or sms or by calling. - Our vets have to be mindful of the time spent in consult with owners. The recommendation is less than 15 minutes. Picking up medications or dropping off a pet? - Still call. The front desk will get you to come in. Trying to get an appointment for a vaccination? - We are truly sorry. Routine care appointments are still being fully booked several days in advance. Lastly, we would like to send our regular final message. From every one in the clinic, please stay safe and sensible. We saw an outpouring of repressed delight for the outdoors two weeks ago. We locals all know we live near the best part of Victoria. We are all relying on everyone's sense of moderation to preserve our local community's enviable low prevalence. http://www.boroniavets.com.au//important-covid-19-informat
