04.01.2022 Thank you to all the sisters before me from all walks of life and identifications, for paving the way and fighting for the rights that I indulge in today. Like having the autonomy to run a small business. These past few weeks have made it abundantly clear that we have universes to travel in terms of improving and solidifying our place in this world as safe and autonomous beings. Our work is not done and it won’t end until we are viewed as equal standing humans on this earth.... It’s been interesting seeing the outpour of solidarity in person and in this vortex of social media by the women in my immediate and greater circles, but an eerie silence from a majority of the men. The time to take responsibility and action is now.
