23.01.2022 Botanicafe is looking for an enthusiastic, organised cook/ chef for 3-4 days a week (no nights) The cafe specialises in fresh food- made to order, plus some grab and go items prepared daily for those in a rush. We have a simple breakfast and lunch menu which is available all day. We pride ourselves in serving house made cakes and savoury options. So a love for baking will certainly come in handy! Hours of operation are 7-2:30 Monday to Friday, Saturday 7-1:30 and Sunday 8:30...- 1:30 The most important attributes the applicant requires are a 'can do' attitude and the ability to work and communicate effectively with a team who are focused on consistently providing excellent customer service. Prior experience in a cafe environment is a must. A good understanding of the English language is essential as is your ability to communicate well with customers. We are looking for someone who works efficiently with attention to detail, the ability to multitask and has a passion for food. 19.01.2022 What a crazy week!! After Mondays announcement was made to ease restrictions early and allow venues to seat 20 customers, we had a busy time getting the cafe set up to offer dine in again. We gave ourselves a few days to ease back into it and Im happy to announce were now accepting bookings! Give us a call to secure your spot.... As spots are limited, we may need to enforce time limits if the need arises. Please help us all to stay safe by observing social distancing, staying home if unwell and be patient with us as we learn how to juggle all the extra requirements to comply with covid-19 measures. We are looking for a skilled barista who understands the importance of consistently providing an amazing experience from the first greeting to that perfect cup of coffee. About you:... - Our regular customers love getting to know their friendly barista so an engaging personality is an ideal quality for you to possess. - You can consistently perform in a fast paced environment whilst multitasking and providing excellent customer service. - You work neatly and efficiently - You are just as comfortable working with a team as you are working independently, keeping yourself busy in between - Confident in all aspects of coffee (including being able to troubleshoot and make adjustments to the grinder as needed) - Have a minimum of 2 years behind the machine - Willing to pitch in where needed- dishes, prep, cleaning etc - Have your own transport - Are intending to live in Brisbane for the next year - Able to work weekdays and weekends usually between the hours of 7am-3:30pm This is a casual position of around 16-24 hours a week.
