08.01.2022 Australian Clay Rosehip Mud Mask We are officially launching this little gem! Our Rosehip mud mask is ideal for those with normal to dry/and or sensitive skin (check out our website for an oily/acne prone skin alternative). It is made up of a combination of Australian clays that work to gently draw out toxins from the skin, leaving skin feeling silky soft and smooth. The benefit of a dry clay mud mask is that no preservatives are added to the natural ingredients, and you ha...ve the freedom to customize depending on your skins condition from month to month. Just mix a small teaspoon of clay with equal parts liquid. Popular choices to mix with clay include water, oil, honey, avocado, apple cider vinegar, aloe vera juice, oat milk, coconut milk and my favorite at the moment - natural yoghurt. Leave for 10 mins, then wash off. Ingredients include: Australian Kaolin Clay, Australian Pink Clay, Australian Bentonite Clay, Rosehip Powder and Himalayan Pink Salt. Premium Gift Pack: 120ml Australian Green Tea Mud Mask, small white saucer, bamboo spoon and bamboo application brush. These will be presented in our sustainable hand sewn hessian gift bags, with instruction card included. Visit our website to see these, and many other beautiful gift packs available this Christmas. Available online and at RAW Bulk Wholefoods, Victor Harbor.

08.01.2022 L O C A L G O O D I E S This week is all about local! Everything in our bunches have either been grown on our flower farm or sourced from local suppliers in a 20km radius and picked in the last 24 hours. Fresh and at their best, can’t wait to pop these onto the stall. We sold out early last week so if you do want a bunch put aside, get in touch x

07.01.2022 There is something quietly satisfying about growing a plant in your garden, taking care of it and seeing it thrive, then harvesting its goodies for use in my skincare. I know where it’s come from, I know it’s not been treated with chemicals, and I know the travel footprint to get it to my door has been zero. It’s easier to click and order, but going through the process step by step when possible, is so worth it when the end product smells as good as this babe #driedlavender

07.01.2022 So yesterday was bonkers. On a day that is usually taken up just with flower arranging, we got news that SA was going into lockdown and I ran around like a crazy women trying to finish arrangements and do all my deliveries in one afternoon. Then I was asked to make a bridal bouquet during my scramble, for a wedding that was going to happen in a few hours in time to beat lockdown. I had two bunches left from the ones that were going on the flower stall, and we tweaked them so ...we would have some type of color cohesion and so the bride would still have something to hold. I was inspired by the couples determination to make sacrifices in order to get married, despite everything stacked against them. And I’m so glad that whilst we couldn’t put together the bouquet she had in her mind, we could do something. My heart goes out to all the couples affected once again by covid, and all the businesses scrambling to work out strategies to get through the next week at least, while they pay wages and no money comes in. It’s not easy, but the motto in our house right now (both hubby and I own businesses), is to stay positive, and do one day at a time. And when these restrictions lift, I will continue to do my bit and try to spend our money locally as much as possible, to try support as many small businesses as we can. So amongst the challenge, try to take inspiration from this couple who chose to make the most of the situation that they found themselves in #inthistogether See more

06.01.2022 A nice way to end a year or floral arranging was to decorate this lovely cake made by my talented friend xx

06.01.2022 How totally sweet are these paper daisies from our garden. I haven’t got to keep many of these yet as my little 4 year old is onto them and always gets to them before me (including these beauties) but hey, that just makes them all the more sweeter sitting in a vase next to his bed

06.01.2022 A little bouquet of sweetness from last weeks wedding

02.01.2022 Last day to order skincare gift packs for delivery, I’ll be heading down to the post office before 5PM so that all the goodies will arrive in time for Christmas. 02.01.2022 This little bush in our garden has been covered in butterflies and bees lately. There were over 20 fluttering around it this afternoon while I was sitting quietly admiring them. I’m not sure what it is about this plant in particular, but if you want butterflies in your garden, it would seem that this one will definitely draw them in! #butterflies
