10.01.2022 Some very sad news, Anthony Passmore, Vice Commodore & long term BBYC sailor passed away peacefully in his sleep earlier this week. Our sincere condolences to his family. The funeral will be limited to family and close friends because of COVID restrictions.

08.01.2022 Tony Brauer scattering the ashes ceremony Sat 31 Oct. The BBYC fleet will depart the Club approx 11am on Sat 31 Oct. Tony’s family will be sailing on Wayfarer V. All racing and cruising boats are welcome. Skippers, please let us know if you are planning to attend by email info@ bbyc.com.au or message below. If you don’t usually race, but would like to crew, please message us or call Karen.... All racing & cruising vessels will sail past Wayfarer V, followed by an ash scattering ceremony. The bay race is expected to commence at 13:00. All yachts will display a length of black ribbon as a mark of respect. Please monitor vhf channel 77 on the day. The Clubhouse will be open from 15:30, for those who’d like to raise a glass to our dear friend.
