21.01.2022 Please be aware. Producing a work permit and an ID that states your address as Melbourne area and trying to get in for dinner is simply not on. So wrong on so many levels. We are checking ID. We miss our Melbourne friends but just look at what happened in that cafe in Kilmore last week.... Stay the course, we are nearly there. Next time we will be calling the police instead of just asking you to leave. I hate this situation but I hate hard lockdown more. Do the right thing and please don’t risk the health of our local community through your selfishness. Sorry but I feel I need to be abundantly clear on this. Stay safe. See more
21.01.2022 Hello friends. We will be closing for a bit of a break next week. We will re open for DINNER ON 29/12, then open every day and evening through to the 4/1. We will be closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week during January, we would have liked to be open more days but due to the chronic shortage in waitstaff currently being experienced industry wide, 4 days a week is all we can safely service without burning out the great crew we have in place at the moment. Nectarines are fresh off my neighbour’s tree, she really needs to trim it back it’s such a shame with all that free fruit hanging over the fence.. We’ve got 60 day grain fed 1kg T bones to share with fantastic fat marbling from John Dee. Top end Eye fillet, marinated butterflied Victorian Lamb Legs and local Quail. Australian Prawns and Oysters, Tasmanian Salmon. Artisan Smallgoods from the Riverina region of NSW.... A cracking 2015 Bellarine Estate Chardonnay plus the famous 2007 Cuvée as pairing options. 06.01.2022 In the depths of this year like no other, we made a decision to change our model in the desire to provide something different and exciting to the visitors of our region. There are several great restaurants and cafes in the area, and we all benefit when we broaden the variety of our offerings. Thank you to our happy customers for embracing this change.
