25.01.2022 Hi everyone since the Covid-19 I've been busy with catching up on all those jobs around the home, but more importantly I've been developing some new arm guards with Kevlar protection. This is my new arm guard which has the kevlar material being the kevlar is used on the Protx Kevlar gloves. This kevlar material is the bullet proof grade and as I have found through research there is an enormous range of kevlar material used for the making of bullet proof vests. So not all bull...et proof kevlar material are equal. At the moment I am in the process of applying to Customs & Border Force to be able to buy the grade that I need to make my arm guards. The construction of the arm guard consists of the kevlar material from the Protx gloves which is sewn onto the leather, then behind the leather there is one layer of abrasive kevlar, one layer of puncture resistant kevlar and finally the neoprene to provide a comfortable fit against your arm. For a much better fit of the arm guard to your arm I have redesigned the way the arm guard is fastened to your arm. There are many ways this has been achieved whether it be shock cord or leather lacing. To achieve a more comfortable fit to your arm I have used 50mm wide elastic in conjunction with velcro for a greatly improved fully adjustable fastening depending on the clothing that you are wearing on the day that you are shooting. Unfortunately due to import restrictions the type of kevlar that I will be using won't be available until I can purchase that particular grade kevlar to be sewn onto the outside of the arm guard. 25.01.2022 Regarding the new arm guard design which will be available will have the leather to prevent the strings hitting your forearm then there is one layer of abrasive kevlar, one layer of puncture resistant kevlar and the neoprene for the comfort fit. The fastening of the arm guard is achieved with 50mm wide elastic and velcro hook and loop to hold the arm guard in place, which will be fully adjustable to suit whatever type of clothing you are wearing when shooting. The pricing for the new arm guard design will be completed by the 6 June 2020.

22.01.2022 Hi everyone it's been a very busy week with competing in the Masters Games Archery events which started on Saturday the 5/10/19 and ending on the 11/10/19. There was an event every day and one event in the evening, which meant for all archers who entered in every event would be competing every day. The events in general had good weather in spite of a couple of chilly days at the beginning of the games. Even though I did not win any medals I had a ball competing against archers from all over Australia. Now it's time to look forward to the Alice Springs Masters Games next year.

10.01.2022 Also I decided I'd treat myself to a new release aid strap to match the colour of the riser of my compound bow.

04.01.2022 Hi everyone the new kevlar arm guard has been tested and now ready. I have been able to obtain ballistic grade kevlar and the arm guard has 4 layers on the outside. New straps with elastic and denim material on the inside for a comfort fit.
