25.01.2022 Just Add Water Around half of the clients I see daily are dehydrated (and that's being generous)! Making up around 70 percent of the human body water is an essential transporter of elements that support all our systems and organs. Adding a few extra glasses keeps everything flowing so much better. ... Achy, constipated, always hungry? It could just be thirst. Try some herbal teas- there is one for out there for everyone or add some mint or ginger from your garden. If you're sleep deficient, you may have trouble making decisions, solving problems, controlling your emotions and behaviour, and coping with change. Adequate rest creates a calm mind and healthy body, balancing hormones reducing the chance of obesity while clearing toxins, regenerating and healing.... There is no set rule to determine how long as each individual has a unique requirement. However, if sleep alludes you there are some great tips to create the perfect restful environment. - Moderate daily exercise is great for creating a restful night's sleep. - Eat three hours before bed and avoid late drinking. - Include warm shower or bath and reading a book. - Soothing music can relax the mind. - Use your bedroom for relaxing - Ditch the electronic equipment and use your bedroom for sleeping. - Create a haven of calm with a comfortable mattress and good supportive pillows. - Sticking to a routine is great for getting the body and mind to adopt a pattern of sleep. - Being consistent reinforces your body's sleep/wake cycle and helps promote better sleep at night. - Magnesium can help to alleviate restless leg syndrome, a common night-time problem. Consider a good quality powdered supplement and in acute cases, keep a spray on hand. - If daytime stress is magnified at night-time. Feel organised for the following day and keep that hour before bed as relaxation not work. Know that you cannot fix it now and put it aside for the morning.
