06.01.2022 Over the last few days our dog Boof has been scratching himself more than usual. We called our local vet . The next appointment is not until tuesday. We want to share with you a quick and easy Folk remedy that will hopefully alleviate his symptoms. Calendula flowers and Yarrow tea. I made the infusion with two teaspoons of each herb in approximately 2 cups of hot water. Let it cool then transfer to a spray bottle. We will spray Boof two to three times in the day. Calendula has been used for thousands of years and has a reputation for use on sensitive skin. Yarrow was an addition due to its antiseptic qualities. We will let you know how Boof is in our next post.
