20.01.2022 A great tip from Louise at Radge Design! I see this all too often on business pages. You need to engage with your audience. Take the time to reply to their comments on your posts. Taking part in the conversation builds relationships which foster trust in your business!

15.01.2022 Remote work is having its "moment". COVID-19 has forced many businesses and companies all over the world to send their employees home to work virtually. Many people had never heard of this type of work! For the majority of the freelance community, working remotely isn't new... it's a way of life. This week I've been able to pack up and spend the week in the Flinders Ranges with family while still completing client work. Shut downs and border closures don't limit the clients I can work with when you work virtually!

08.01.2022 I might be a VA but my work isn't all done remotely. It's great to be able to catch up with my clients face-to-face! Very lucky to be able to drop into a space like Workspace Barossa and use it as my base for the day.

07.01.2022 Life throws you curve balls and we seem to have been thrown plenty lately. The week before Christmas my partner had a major health scare. Since then, it's been all about health and family. My business has had to take a back seat as we work through this. I'm thankful I have amazing clients who have been understanding through this time and supportive small business friends! Here's to finally starting to get 2020 rolling!

07.01.2022 We all want to be more productive, flying through that to do list with a breeze, increasing our creativity and effortlessly multitasking. We all know exercise keeps you healthy but exercising can also increase productivity in all areas of your life. Exercise is shown to reduce stress, combat fatigue, improve performance and lead to fewer workday absences. A natural stress reducer, exercise combats chronic stress often suffered by workers. For me excercise is about finding balance in my week and seeing improvements in my sleep quality and mental health. Excercise can be as simple as going for a walk! Do you try and include some exercise in your week?

03.01.2022 Wow! So I’m still struggling to wrap my head around it...but I’m proud to say I’ve been nominated in two different categories of the SA Woman Awards. The role I play for my clients is primarily in the background of their business. Working on the tasks they don’t have time for...or just need done! I set up Bowerbird Solutions with the intention of being the support for busy business people. I’m grateful in my short 14 months in business, I’ve made an impact on those around me... and this is a lovely way to celebrate my business and the work I do for my amazing clients. Thanks again to those sneaky ladies who have nominated me. I am honoured, and so very humbled. It’s been great to see other very deserving women being recognised with their own nominations.
