25.01.2022 We had an outing to Kalbar Show and couldnt be happier. Great people, nice little country show and we came home with 4 blue ribbons, a red as well as a Junior Champ, Reserve Junior, Grand Champ and Supreme Tropical Champion, as well as the interbreed Breeders Group win. Once again the Droughtmasters were the biggest breed. BP Kaboom continues to impress. A great young bull. 755kg at 19 months.

25.01.2022 Ahhh Bulls, sometimes their natural instincts drive you crazy. Even young bulls like 15 month old BP Copenhagen. He can see the girls but cant reach them and calls out day and night. Noisy bugger.

24.01.2022 Final weigh in for BP Kaboom Lot 481 and BP King Missile Lot 482 DN Sale. Terrific pair of lads by $20,000 Strathfield Xplode. Kaboom 853kg at 22 months and Missile 787kg at 20 months.

21.01.2022 We visited the Ipswich Hospital Childrens Sunshine Ward yesterday with BP Kaboom and BP Copenhagen. The reaction from some off the children was amazing and really made it worthwhile. Also BP Kaboom, just amazes us. This bull has a temperament 2nd to none. He did us proud. It was as though he knew what was happening and what he had to do. He turned his head for photos he lowered his head for children to pat him and to get a kiss. He was so amazingly gentle. Yet he goes home, straight out into the paddock and he strutts his stuff and starts playing push and shove and fighting with the other bulls to keep his place as the kingpin in the paddock. At 22 months and 830kg he will be an exceptional asset to his new owners when he sells at the DN Sale in September. He will be missed.

21.01.2022 Nice day out at Toogoolawah Show yesterday. Great country show with an amazing turnout of Droughtmaster cattle, with over 50 exhibits. We took 2 of our boys and only managed 2 fourth places. Congratulations to all the Droughtmaster studs who came. Our breed consistently has the biggest numbers at every show in the West Moreton and Brisbane Valley sub chamber. Great to see.

21.01.2022 What a bull and what a temperament. Kaboom Lot 481 DN Sale. Naturally quiet, intelligent, Homozygous Poll and Pompes Negative. Currently 22months 830kg. JBAS 7 WA. Paddock prepared and bred to work with longevity. His sire (Strathfield Xplode) is still serving a multi-sire paddock as No.1 sire at 12yrs old. Kaboom is a bull not to be missed.

21.01.2022 The best news ever. Almost 12 months ago we donated part of the $9000 sale proceeds of Shotgun to help an awesome family. 9 year old Jack had a pineapple size tumour in his lungs. Today 12 months since being diagnosed and one hell of a fight later Jack is officially cancer free. Wooohooo. Well done Jack and well done to your mum and dad. They're awesome people.

18.01.2022 Gatton Show on the weekend was a good result for Bowman Park. Our 4 bulls were all in the top 3 in their classes with BP Shotgun Rider 15 mths taking out Junior Champion and BP Copehagen 9 mths Reserve Junior Champion. Congratulations also to Goondiwindi High with reserve Junior Champion heifer BP Mafia. Congratulations to all those Droughtmaster breeders who once again gave our breed the greatest numbers.

18.01.2022 The first of our 2020 DN Sale Bulls, 17 Month old Kihayla Hangover. An all round magic future sire that oozes quality.

18.01.2022 Gotta love this young bull. Bowman Park Kaboom by Strathfield Xplode out of an Amavale (Glenlands Overlord) female. He has it all. Leg, length, top line, bone and Bombproof temperament. Kaboom will be nominated to sell at the 2018 Droughtmaster National Bull sale.

17.01.2022 Great to see green grass, fat cows and young calves running around. Calf in pic is a 6 week old Kihayla Droughtmaster bull calf by Strathfield Xplode. He already displays the strong poll, length and depth of body of his underated sire.

14.01.2022 Good people and great cattle. The 35th Droughtmaster Futurity, 2020. Well done to all exhibitors. We were humbled to take out the Champion Heifer Calf, with 10 month old Bowman Park Malibu(BP Kaboom). Lacking a little preparation, Malibu still impressed enough to take out the purple ribbon.

13.01.2022 This Drought is so frustrating, when you can see and smell the rain, yet get nothing it drives you crazy. Below are a few pics of our place that show how depressing this drought can appear and a pic that gives a glimmer of hope. Any chance of a shower is now gone for another week.

13.01.2022 Great day at the 2018 Droughtmaster Futurity. 2 of our boys by Strathfield Xplode and our heifer by BP Pale Rider placed in big classes. And the Bowman Park and Kihayla girls won or placed in the paraders classes. Thanks to organises and Judges for a great day.

12.01.2022 Great day out at 2019 Ipswich show stud cattle comp. Well done to Adelis Bauer and team. Well done to all the Droughtmaster studs in attendance making the breed turn out the biggest by far. Our 3 entries brought home 3 2nd places.

11.01.2022 Just loving this young bull. Bowman Park Copenhagen(S: Strathfield Xplode)16 months 611kg. Hes gained a whopping 2.56 kg per day over the last 23 days with 5 kg of supplement per day, hay and whatever pick he finds in the paddock.

06.01.2022 Jake, Justin, kiara and Haylee caught up with Steve and Andrew from Redriver Rural today at Beef 2018. We use and highly recommend Redriver stockyards and cattle crushes. A top Australian made product.
