15.01.2022 More on NAIDOC week! Inspired by their natural surroundings, Educators at Bowral Street Childcare have created a sustainably resourced tree house for small world play. Isn’t it amazing!! We also have a craft table using stones to represent the colours of the flag and a dessert set up with animals and story stones. We cannot wait to guide the children through these experiences, teaching a better understanding of the traditional owners of this beautiful land we stand on. ... ‘Always was, always will be’

14.01.2022 Wow, the grass is looking good after a rainy holiday period and our new play area is ready to be enjoyed by our children! We welcomed children back today and look forward to seeing more of you soon!

14.01.2022 Our backyard transformation continues! We are absolutely thrilled with the new floor in our verandah / outdoor classroom. It looks amazing, is slip free, and easy to clean!

07.01.2022 Happy Monday! On the weekend we celebrated together with Barefoot bowls, cocktails and Mexican food. We had lots of fun and so many laughs. Now it’s Christmas week for all the children. We love the fun that we have have around Christmas, with clothes and accessories, song and dance, games and gifts. We’re in for a great week at Bowral Street Childcare!

05.01.2022 Well that’s a wrap for 2020. Wishing all of our children and families a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Best wishes to our children heading off to school. We have received so many thoughtful cards and gifts this week and we are so grateful. We so enjoy our roles helping children to grow and learn, and the wonderful relationships we have with our families is absolutely icing on the cake. Thank you everyone and enjoy the celebrations

04.01.2022 HAPPY WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY!Today we celebrated this special day with the children by using natural resources for our play, as well as using play-dough to create different environments. Gardening and food growing is part of our ongoing program, and we love to eat what we grow! As a business we take our environmental responsibility seriously, using natural products where possible. This is not only good for the environment but for us too!

03.01.2022 We are so glad you loved the FATHER’S DAY cookies we gifted, and we agree they are delicious! Thank you to Brookies Cookies for baking such a large order at such a busy time. We also hope the shrink art key rings were a hit, the children sure enjoyed creating these! We hope everyone had a lovely day yesterday

03.01.2022 Bowral Street Childcare is looking for an outstanding Diploma Educator to join our team in 2021. We have a 4 day per week assistant position but if the right people wanted 2 days each we could make that work. We are a lovely, family run centre with a friendly team and we were recently awarded most outstanding centre for 2020. 01.01.2022 * GRADUATION CELEBRATIONS * Last week we held 2 special lunches to celebrate our school readiness children's transition to school. We had a special lunch on the verandah, sung a special song, and then we gifted the children with cute graduation cookies, a framed photo and a certificate. We wish these children a wonderful adventure at school!
